Our Graduated Dot Stencil from Dreamweaver Stencils is perfect for adding polka dots to any project you’d like. This stencil is awesome because it really lends itself to all the terrific stenciling techniques, plus it makes a perfect background for any of our wonderful Stampendous Images. Let’s take a look (you can click on the pictures to be taken to the project on our website with complete supply lists and instructions) –

This darling card using House-Mouse Designs® Baby Blanket image was created by Kristine Reynolds using the Graduated Dot stencil. She pasted it with regular embossing paste then stenciled it with Paintsticks and a stencil brush. She used it in a landscape position to provide a quick and darling background.

Baby Blanket by Kristine ReynoldsIn this sweet card, Kristine used Dreamweaver Regular Paste and a Paste Spreader to create a background with the Graduated Dot Stencil that really makes the rest of the card pop! The card features our Garden Frog Stamp and our Spring Sentiments Perfectly Clear Stamps™ Set.

In this wonderful card by Lyn Bernatovich, the Graduated Dot Stencil has been dry embossed using a Big Shot die cutting machine. To do this, place the stencil, copyright side down, on the Multipurpose Platform of your Big Shot. Then spritz the back of your card with a bit of water and place it on the stencil. Next add a rubber embossing mat and two new, uncut, clear plates on top. Then run it through. The little spritz of water gives you a crisp embossed finish.

Another terrific card by Amy Hurley-Purdie shows that adding some Crystal Micro Glitter to the pasted stencil design can make a really dynamic finish when you’re using a smaller stamp on a larger card.

Finally, a quick stenciling with ink has made a terrific, simple background for this wonderful Christmas card by Tenia Nelson.
