Congratulations, crafters! We know you’ll love these sets!
Even your mom will find our terrific texture cubes easy to use. And she’d love one as a gift! They’re the most versatile stamps she’ll ever own, and they’re just bursting with possibilities.
We have more texture for you today, our friend Andy Skinner has designed two new stamp sets for us that are just amazing for adding texture to your projects.
The first one, Fossils, has so many wonderful patterns and potential completely aside from the great images themselves. Each image can add a ton of texture when applied to a background in a subtle color. You will adore these.
The second set from Andy Skinner is Textures! And it’s full of subtle, almost there images that will haunt the backgrounds of your cards adding a wonderful depth and dimension. Take a look.
We got a couple of great samples from Andy, himself, showing these wonderful stamps
And Andy has his own Design Team who have been playing with these textures and creating some very amazing things!
AND – we hope you’ve read this far because we have some
WINNERS
From our 6″ X 6″ Cling Rubber Stamp last week, we’ve got three lucky winners from the comments. Please email us at submissions@stampendous.com and let us know which of the 6″ X 6″ Cling Rubber Stamps you would like for your very own. You can find them all by clicking HERE (they’re the ones in the blue header package). You’ll also need to give us your U.S. Mailing Address.
You will be so in love with these super versatile stamps! Our 6″ X 6″ Cling Rubber stamps are just a bit smaller than our 8″ X 8″ Decor Cling Rubber stamps. Both are fantastic for creating backgrounds on Decorative Painting projects, art journals, home decor, cards, and so much more. Use just a small area, or tile the whole image over a large area. Use paint, ink, or any other media that works on rubber stamps. Plus, with our square Perfectly Clear Handles, sized just for these stamps, you can get a crisp, sharp image every time!
Look at these awesome backgrounds that Fran created just quickly using these wonderful images!
Let’s see what our Design Team has done with these great stamps today!
You’ll love our brand new 6″ X 6″ Cling Rubber stamps for making a Stampendous impression every time! These wonderful backgrounds are so versatile, you can easily line them up side to side for making very large projects, or you can use just a small part of them for smaller projects. They’re made of the same great rubber and cling foam that our other stamps use, so you know you’ll get crisp, clear results. Try them with paint, ink, or other media!
Our Design Team used them on a huge variety of projects this week for lots of inspiration. Leave comments here and on our Design Team blogs for a chance to win your favorite, we’ll give 3 away. (official rules always here)
Here they are! You can click on them to be taken to the stamp on our website.
Today we have a BIG post of fabulous stencils with flowers, leaves and beautiful pattern backgrounds and plenty of project inspiration.
Our latest in flowers and leaves range from fun succulents to a royal thicket crest.
Every project deserves a strong foundation, and our most recent background stencils are sure to help out in that category. Let’s take a glimpse at a few of the new Background Stencils and some projects ideas, too. Want to know more? Click on a caption underneath a stencil to see more detailed information on our website.

According to my email from the Disney Store, today is National Polka Dot Day! Wow… well, if you’re a huge fan of polka dots, you’re in luck, because we have a really fun option for you!
Our Graduated Dot Stencil from Dreamweaver Stencils is perfect for adding polka dots to any project you’d like. This stencil is awesome because it really lends itself to all the terrific stenciling techniques, plus it makes a perfect background for any of our wonderful Stampendous Images. Let’s take a look (you can click on the pictures to be taken to the project on our website with complete supply lists and instructions) –
This darling card using House-Mouse Designs® Baby Blanket image was created by Kristine Reynolds using the Graduated Dot stencil. She pasted it with regular embossing paste then stenciled it with Paintsticks and a stencil brush. She used it in a landscape position to provide a quick and darling background.
In this wonderful card by Lyn Bernatovich, the Graduated Dot Stencil has been dry embossed using a Big Shot die cutting machine. To do this, place the stencil, copyright side down, on the Multipurpose Platform of your Big Shot. Then spritz the back of your card with a bit of water and place it on the stencil. Next add a rubber embossing mat and two new, uncut, clear plates on top. Then run it through. The little spritz of water gives you a crisp embossed finish.
Another terrific card by Amy Hurley-Purdie shows that adding some Crystal Micro Glitter to the pasted stencil design can make a really dynamic finish when you’re using a smaller stamp on a larger card.
Finally, a quick stenciling with ink has made a terrific, simple background for this wonderful Christmas card by Tenia Nelson.
Need more ideas? Check out our website at http://www.stampendous.com and just search Gradated Dot Stencil. You’ll find a tab for product then a tab for projects that will help you find just the things you need. Happy Polka Dot Day!!
If you’re needing decorative elements for the next mixed media, papercrafting or decorative painting project, then take note of these great medallion and border stamps that are lovely as the main focus element or the strong supporting background.
Look at Tenia Nelson’s fabulous focal image card. She rocked this one!
At 3 inches tall our Medallion Circle stamp turns into a great border when repeated across a scrapbook page or even as an etched accent on a mirror.
A border stamp can double as a lacy tablecloth with its double edged design. Did you see it used on Lea Kimmel’s Teacup Cupcake card for our tea time theme week? Here it is again, do you spot it now?
With two different ornate edges it’s like having two stamps in one Ornate Border is beautiful from edge to edge and ready for any design you throw it’s way.
And now it’s time to hop along to see some designer projects. I’ve seen them {wink} both and I think you are really going to like them.
The CHA show floor opens tomorrow for the mega blast of new products in the craft industry! We wish you were here! (if you ARE here, visit us in Booth #723) While it’s not open to the public, we can sure give you a peek at the newest products from Stampendous!
Our Creative Palette Monoprinting plate we released last year has been a HUGE hit! Folks are loving the terrific patterned papers they can print with this versatile tool, plus the fact that they can easily pick it up and transfer the pattern to home decor and other projects. Decorative Painters are thrilled with the way it performs as a palette! It’s just all around a must-have for your studio.
This year we’re thrilled to release two new versions of the Creative Palette. Rounds and Rectangles. Both include new palette shapes and sizes plus images you can use on an acrylic stamp handle to create more patterns and backgrounds. You’ll love them both. Fran has made some terrific videos for you to see the benefits of these new additions to the Creative Palette family!
Creative Palette – Rounds
Creative Palette – Rectangles
Here’s a closer look at some terrific samples using these two palettes! We’ll be sharing LOTS more this weekend from CHA! Be sure that you follow us on Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook for all the fun!
This week our Design Team is playing with the beautiful butterfly stamps we released in April. These gorgeous images are already collaged for you. With enough area to be fun to color and enough background to save you heaps of time, they’re a super quick way to get a gloriously textured, layered card. You can cut out the butterfly from a second stamping to add depth, or simply stamp in black over your Creative Palette monoprints for a fast and easy card.
Come in wood mounted and Cling Rubber styles. Our Design Team have made fantastic samples of these great designs, and we’ll be sharing them all week. Here’s who is showing projects today:
Backgrounds! They’re always a challenge, and stampers and scrapbookers can never get enough. We buy loads of background paper to get different patterns and looks, but here at Stampendous we LOVE to make our own. Using stamps and, now, our new Creative Palette, you can have a lifetime of varied backgrounds without even blinking an eye!
We are so lucky that Mixed Media Artist Nathalie Kalbach has decided to work with us to create some very thrilling background images. Her cling stamp designs plus the unique templates that come with them give you literally hundreds of options for backgrounds.
Additionally, all of our new Stack Art Sets have coordinating stamp sets that create amazing backgrounds. Complete with their own clear handle, these sets of 5 or 6 stamps are absolutely delightful and all backgrounds repeat easily for endless variations!
