We’re Headed to Creativation!

We’re super excited to be heading to the Association for Creative Industries (AFCI) trade show again this year. The show is January 17-21 in Phoenix, AZ, and it celebrates all things new under the creative sun. Manufacturers from all over the world will meet with buyers and designers to share new products, new techniques, and new trends. Stampendous always enjoys being part of this wonderful event.

This show is only for the trade, but if you’re coming, you’ll find us in Booth #2015. We’ll have the products from our new January 2019 Catalog and all the great samples for you to see and touch in real life, plus new product demonstrations and more. We sure hope you’ll stop by and visit us if you’re there. Here’s a taste of what the show is like. If you still need to register, you can do so here – REGISTRATION

Spring Borders Die Set – Part III

Spring Borders Die set

We’re moving to the final two dies in our Spring Borders Die Set today! This versatile set is just fantastic for your Spring Project Needs. And don’t worry, you’ll be seeing lots more of this great set as it becomes a Stampendous Classic! In case you missed our previous posts, see them here – MONDAYWEDNESDAY.  You’ll want to leave comments on our posts, and the posts of our Design Team to be eligible to win your own set of Spring Borders Dies! We’ll give away three sets this week and the Official Rules are Always HERE!

The next die from this awesome set is the fanciest of the group. It’s got such an elegant line, you’ll want it for all your flowers and other beautiful stamps. Notice that it only cuts along the top of this image for a lacy edging piece.

The final die is a Victorian style edge that works alone, or perfectly mimics the bottom edge of the previous die, allowing you to create a stunning edge piece. This gives you twice the duty from both of these versatile dies!

Spring Borders Die Set – Part II

Spring Borders Die set

We’re in love with our Spring Borders Die set! If you missed the Monday post, be sure to check it out here! MONDAY

We’re continuing today with an in-depth look at two more of the dies in this set!

The first one is the darling heart cut-out die! This die is designed to cut a “window” in your card’s 5-1/4″ X 4″ or larger, layer. It allows for paper piecing or a lovely peek at the inside of the card. Cutting it out also provides you with lots of little hearts you can use as confetti in your card.

The next die is the Ribbon Threader Die. These darling daisies just beg for a ribbon, twine, or strip of patterned paper to be threaded through their little holes. Such a cute way to add ribbon to a card or project!

Take a look at the great designs by our Design Team today! Be sure to leave them a nice comment so we can enter you to win your own set of Spring Borders Dies.

Spring Borders Die Set Fun!

Spring Borders Die set

Our new Spring Borders Cutting Die Set is so fun. Our Design Team went a little bit crazy with them and they really explored the possibilities of this terrific product. Not just borders, there are cut outs, a ribbon threader, and so much more! You get six great dies and they’re each meant to be able to repeat across a long surface, or fit perfectly on your standard card. We’ll explore each one this week! You could even win one of these great sets!

Here’s that fun set (you can click on it to see it on our website):

Spring Borders Die Set PackagedHere are some great samples to give you ideas, plus you know our Design Team is playing along below! We’ll give away three sets of Spring Borders Dies this week to lucky commenters on our blog or the blogs of our Design Team. You have to have a U.S. Mailing Address to win and complete rules are always HERE.

First up, in this great set, is the scalloped border. It has a great scalloped edge with impressed dots that follow the edge line. Super versatile and perfect for any look from classic to whimsical!

The next die is the flower cut-out border. This can be used to create a piece to be glued on to a card, or it can cut out a “window” to the inside of the card or to another layer. All sorts of embellishments can be added to the flower centers, from Dot Sparklers to jewels.

Text Your Mom! or Texture, Mom!

Texture Cubes Banner

Even your mom will find our terrific texture cubes easy to use. And she’d love one as a gift! They’re the most versatile stamps she’ll ever own, and they’re just bursting with possibilities.

We have more texture for you today, our friend Andy Skinner has designed two new stamp sets for us that are just amazing for adding texture to your projects.

The first one, Fossils, has so many wonderful patterns and potential completely aside from the great images themselves. Each image can add a ton of texture when applied to a background in a subtle color. You will adore these.

Merry and Bright Friday!

Merry and Bright Banner

It’s been Merry and Bright all this week with some great ideas for holiday projects!  In case you missed them here are MONDAY and WEDNESDAY‘s posts. Next week we’ll be sharing with all of our Laurel Burch images for Christmas! And there will be Prizes, be sure to tune in Monday! Today, we’re sharing awesome cards to add a little, special, sparkle to Christmas.

In addition to our great holiday stamps this year, we released some awesome new essentials. Have a look at some of these wonderful products!

First up is our brand new Twinkle Glitter! This vintage-looking glitter adds a ton of sparkle wherever it goes. We like to add a focal piece on top of our Sticky Panels and then fill the rest of the exposed adhesive with this blingy wonder. The random sizes and shapes of the granules just fill up the space and sparkle and twinkle when you turn the card. Stunning!

Here’s a swatch (you can click on any of these pictures to visit the products or projects on our website) so you can see the grain size and shape variations, it’s really cool.

Another great new product we released this season was our Ice Pink Embossing EnamelIce Pink joins last year’s Rose Gold and Iced Blue in the Frantage Embossing Enamels line. These pearly metallics are holiday perfect! Photographs cannot do them justice!

This terrific sample from Louise Healy uses the Ice Pink Embossing Enamel over the top of Silver Embossing Paste  and the Ornament Mix stencil to create a fantastic molten magic card! It’s magical! You can find the directions and supplies on our website here!
