WindowRama Photo frame Card Kits

Our brand new WindowRama Photo Frame Card Kits are an easy and beautiful way to send a holiday or everyday greeting!

Simple to assemble, each package comes with enough pieces to make 8-3D diorama cards that stand for display and fold flat for mailing. Envelopes and a small stamp set of greetings are included. You can simply glue them together and add a photo or gift card in the pre-punched slots, or you can embellish them as much as your heart desires.

WindowRama Photo Frame Card Kits are available in Christmas, Winter, Wedding, and Baby themed sets. Baby and Wedding are ideal for Everyday occasions as well. You’ll find them in your local stamping and scrapbooking store or on our website (where your orders are filled by a local, independent store!).

We’ve created a series of YouTube videos that will show you the basics of assembling these easy-to-use products, and they will give you some additional ideas for adding your own artistic flair if desired.

A Charming Cherub Christmas

Cherub Christmas

Super sweet cherubs are perfect for Christmas greetings to convey the wonder of the Holiday season. These adorable angels are Fran’s favorite this year as they interact with sweet animals for the season. Combine one or more on a holiday card, or you could even use them for sympathy cards, or just daily encouragement. There are so many ways to color them to feature year ’round charm.

Fran made a quick video with some coloring tips, and it features some wonderful samples from our Design Team and Fran herself for using these great stamps. Check it out.

Our design team is also sharing their samples on their blogs this week along with other designs that would make delightful cards for kids or from kids. Check them out here –

House Mouse Designs Banner

Hooray for our little friends in mousey grey and brown! This little family is just the cutest thing around, and they’re always having so much fun together. You know they each have personalities and quite the story, and even though you can color them how you like, each one has a color scheme especially for them. Our House-Mouse Designs® Coloring Pages tell you their little story and help you color them to match. You can find those here. Each page can be downloaded as a pdf on your computer to guide you.

The House-Mouse family in our April catalog are celebrating birthdays and babies in addition to Summer. Here are a few more sweeties and some Design Team Sharing.

First up, Mudpie has fallen into a snooze from eating too much birthday cake, and Maxwell has a surprise planned! Those two!!

Brushed Alphabet Greetings

We’re sharing our Brushed Wishes and our Great Big Greetings this week. For the article about our Brushed Wishes Perfectly Clear Stamp Set, see TUESDAY’s post. We’ve even added a new alphabet to our collection with our new brush lettering. It’s so clever, too! Fran wanted to make this alphabet big enough for your mixed media, decorative painting, scrapbooking, or cardmaking uses. In order to get the letters bigger, she left out the Q, X, and Z in the set and supplied you with a handy extra stroke that can be used as quotation marks, an apostrophe, or can be added to other letters to make the missing ones. Here’s how it works (this guide is included with your alphabet set):

National Polka Dot Day

According to my email from the Disney Store, today is National Polka Dot Day! Wow… well, if you’re a huge fan of polka dots, you’re in luck, because we have a really fun option for you!

DWLX7029_Graduated_Dot_800 Stencil

Our Graduated Dot Stencil from Dreamweaver Stencils is perfect for adding polka dots to any project you’d like. This stencil is awesome because it really lends itself to all the terrific stenciling techniques, plus it makes a perfect background for any of our wonderful Stampendous Images. Let’s take a look (you can click on the pictures to be taken to the project on our website with complete supply lists and instructions) –

This darling card using House-Mouse Designs® Baby Blanket image was created by Kristine Reynolds using the Graduated Dot stencil. She pasted it with regular embossing paste then stenciled it with Paintsticks and a stencil brush. She used it in a landscape position to provide a quick and darling background.

Baby Blanket by Kristine ReynoldsIn this sweet card, Kristine used Dreamweaver Regular Paste and a Paste Spreader to create a background with the Graduated Dot Stencil that really makes the rest of the card pop! The card features our Garden Frog Stamp and our Spring Sentiments Perfectly Clear Stamps™ Set.

In this wonderful card by Lyn Bernatovich, the Graduated Dot Stencil has been dry embossed using a Big Shot die cutting machine. To do this, place the stencil, copyright side down, on the Multipurpose Platform of your Big Shot. Then spritz the back of your card with a bit of water and place it on the stencil. Next add a rubber embossing mat and two new, uncut, clear plates on top. Then run it through. The little spritz of water gives you a crisp embossed finish.

Another terrific card by Amy Hurley-Purdie shows that adding some Crystal Micro Glitter to the pasted stencil design can make a really dynamic finish when you’re using a smaller stamp on a larger card.

Finally, a quick stenciling with ink has made a terrific, simple background for this wonderful Christmas card by Tenia Nelson.
