It is going to be a fantastic Monday Stampendous friends where our weekly theme will bring smiles to your face with inspiration for pop up puppy love!
If you are thinking that we just posted something about a blog hop with Linnie Blooms this week, you are correct! We are joining the design team over at Linnie Blooms for a mixed media collaboration, so make sure you stop by and check them out every day this week, but we also wanted to share some puppy love from our April 2015 catalog! There is going to be lots of inspiration and fun all around this week and we hope you’ll join us for all of it!
Remember our beloved Kute Kitties Week? Those kitties risked the cooties for these fun Pop Up Puppies we’ll be sharing this week! We are so excited about our furry friends and can’t wait to show you these tail-waggers this week.
Make some adorable cards with Pop Up Puppies that include three canine breed faces and one body plus two extra paws and a dog’s best treasure, his bone. If that sounds good you’re going to like that there is a coordinating die set for them as well!
With graduation ceremonies upon us in the US, I thought a fabulous and adorable graduating puppy card was just right to start off the week. This smart canine was created by in-house designer Terry Braddock and it is created with our Pop Up Die Set so he is popping away from the inside of the card when opened!
Now if that wasn’t enough to make you sigh from it’s adorable self, there are more projects popping up on our design team blogs today! Stop by these designers blogs and see their canine inspiration!
At Linnie Blooms you’re going to find oodles of fun projects to really take your mixed media in a new direction. We met this new company at CHA in January, and we immediately had heaps of ideas for using these clever products. What a new dimension to journals, canvases, books, scrapbook pages! We know you’re going to love seeing the inspiration from this week’s hop!
Plus there are prizes!! Three lucky winners will each win a set of Linnie Blooms Fabric Mini File Folders just like they provide for our team. Plus, you’ll receive a Dreamweaver Stencil background, and our Vintage Press Perfectly Clear Stamps™ Set. You’ll be creating Mixed Media fabric accents in no time! These winners have to have a U.S. mailing address (official rules here), but Aussie Fans – good news! The Stencil Specialists are sponsoring one Australian prize for this collaboration! You could win a Stampendous stamp, an LL sized Dreamweaver Stencil of your choice, a silicone buttons mould, and a Stampendous Embossing Powder (your color choice)… Wow!! It just wouldn’t be a picnic without the appearance of some determined and hungry ants scouting for precious picnic morsels to take home and share! We’ve brought the picnic spread earlier this week, so it’s time the ants show up for their share of the spotlight. Cupcake Ant is appropriately at the beginning of the introduction line, because his motto is “Eat dessert FIRST!”
This dessert driven ant is adorably the focus of Debi Hammons card and he has opted for the cherry on top as his first bite. That’s one happy ant!
You are going to get a giggle from these happy trotters who have a different spin on the whole food diet idea. This Lunch Line stamp would be so sweet as a border for a picnic party menu or on a scrapbook layout. Of course, these ants would do well being the highlight on any project.
Here is a fabulous card using Lunch Line and a sentiment just right for these happy ants. This is a fun card great to send out after a day in the park.
Here is the Life Picnic stamp used on Debi’s card and it is great to go along with all of our picnic themed image stamps. I think the ant has mistaken the punctuation for a few pieces of food leftover over from the picnic.
Create your own pattern paper with these adorable marching ants creating a great backdrop to a picnic layout or invitation. Bring your own army of ants to the picnic in fun sandwich wrap bands and drink sleeves. These ants will do so many good things for your next picnic, just ink them up and march them across your project!
It’s been a great week of picnic fun and we sure enjoyed sharing this summer style collection of stamps with you. It isn’t over quite yet, because there is still more to see from our fabulous design team today!
Did you hear we are hopping with Linnie Blooms next week? A great new company for the mixed media minded crafter and that is just what we like to do! Come visit our blog next week while we hop along with them and check out our weekly theme posts, too!
As we head into that “relaxing” time of the year when kids are home, vacations are begun and ended too quickly, and families reunite, we look forward to picnics and playtime. The Stampendous/Dreamweaver team feel the same way. Some of us have just been playing with fun techniques and great stencil designs (‘cuz, hey! We have the BEST!), but we’re mixing up a bit of picnic-themed fun with new Stampendous designs as well. Here’s just a taste…
Check(erboard) them all out, and leave them a nice comment…that’s part of the fun!

When it’s picnic time there is room for outdoor fun and we’ve captured a few goodies from our summer style stamps today to share with you. If you have never been in a tree swing you should really try it out! It’s okay, it’s for kids of all ages and even safe when you use our stamp to create a fun card or scrapbook page.
There’s just something about a swing that makes the day seem care-free and perfect, just like this simple birthday card made by Janelle Stollfus a few years ago with Tree Swing (and retired set, Who’s Counting Perfectly Clear Stamp Set).
When the wind picks up it’s time to grab a kite and see how far along the skyline it will go. Surprisingly it doesn’t take much wind to bring Itty Bit along in the kite’s flight path with this next stamp.
Pebble has it all planned out with a fabulous Hammock Nap and definitely making progress with the plan. What else is there to do after filling your tummy from a picnic spread?
This delightful sunflower color card is sprinkled with sun-rays with all the great yellow elements. Debi Hammons has it all set up for Pebbles and tied it with a bow. Instructions are available on our website for most of the samples we share, check out this one here.
That was a fun walk through some previously released stamps and a treasured look at some of our favorite activities outdoor. Still curious about more summer style stamps? Look for the summer stamp category on our website HERE.
Now these designers are waiting to share their projects from our April 2015 Catalog and I’m sure you’ll love their spin on the picnic fun theme.
There are a few menu items that are a sure thing at any picnic and watermelon is one of them, at least the gatherings I’ve attended seem to have a melons as an option, so it’s fitting that our picnic week include this juicy and ripe treat.
Taking a slice out of life and literally from the melon, these mice really know how to picnic. Just look at the grins on the faces of Maxwell, Amanda, and Monica, they sure look pleased with their choice. Of course, Mudpie is being his mischievous self and spitting the seeds before his next bite.
Here’s a card from one of our in-house designers that looks just delicious! The coloring on the watermelon is divine and all those sweet full belly mice can be colored up quickly for this simple and easy card design! Send out a bunch of these in no time with just a few steps. Color Watermelon Mice with your favorite tools, add a mat around the image and onto the card base with a simple twine and button combination.
It seems these mice are driven to food quite often around here and you can find all those foodie stamps on our website in the House-Mouse page. Stamps like Share a Sip, Grape Snack and Carrot Friend all go together well for a fun set of these quick cards.
There is always a place to share your House-Mouse creations and you might even be a lucky prize winner if you share them at House-Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge blog! The current challenge is Summer Fun and we think Watermelon Mice fits in just right with that challenge don’t you?
Are you ready for some more picnic fun from some designer’s posting today? Let’s check it out, now!
April Showers must have flipped the calendar an extra month, because it has been sweeping across most of the US leaving its wet footprints behind. We’re always thankful for some rain in our region and It has us anticipating the days when we can head outdoors for picnics under blue skies, but why wait for the weather to change when we can have a week of picnic fun here!
Our picnic theme stamps from the April catalog have all the fixin’s for a great project that celebrates some family fun for summertime! Get ready for a week of fresh ideas starting with this original design by Fran Seiford in the Picnic Spread Stamp makes it feel like you are already relaxing in a peaceful setting with a delightful spread just short of a small feast. It’s made for a mouth watering project!
Our in-house designer, Debi Hammons created this flavorful card as a seaside picnic with some puffy clouds in her sky. Are you thinking what I’m thinking? A picnic isn’t complete without playing the game of guessing what animal or person you see in the clouds.
Be on the lookout for more picnic scenes this week from our design team that have different countryside interpretations. What do you see in the background of our Picnic Spread stamp?
We have some fabulous design team projects to link up today for some picnic inspiration.
