July is All About Citrus

We here at Stampendous are gearing up for CHA* in Chicago, and getting excited about releasing new stamps and Fran•táge goodness.  Make sure you stay tuned here to the blog and on our Facebook page, so you don’t miss any sneak peeks!  And if you can’t go to CHA, you should definitely stay home and craft!  We have the perfect thing to get you inspired…our July Color Challenge!  This month it is all about the citrus colors.  Limes, lemons, grapefruits – whatever inspires you.  Here’s a little glimpse at a project from Melinda Gleissner:

She colored up the Party Hat Kiddo, and paired her with the Dream Text background and the Geo Bubbles (stamped in orange on the orange card).  Love the pinks and orange together!  For more details on her card, be sure to check out her blog post about it (link below).  And make sure you stop by to see what some of our other designers have been up to with citrus colors:

And we want YOU to play along with us!  Simply make a project of some sort that incorporates citrus colors and add the direct link for your project to our collection at the end of this post (or on the Stampendous blog) no later than Thursday, August 2 at 11:59 PM EST .  You do not have to use Stampendous products, but we sure love it when you do!  As an extra incentive for playing along, one lucky crafter (drawn at random) will receive this adorable Cowlik Birthday Collection  Perfectly Clear stamp set:

As an even bigger incentive, if you use Stampendous products on your project, that entry will count twice, which increases your chances of winning!  Due to shipping restrictions, the winner must have a US address.  And of course, we need to announce a winner for June’s summer-themed challenge!  We had over 30 amazing entries, and the lucky winner is…..Tami B!  Take a look at her fun card:

We love that she used combined stamps on her card (check out her blog for a look at the inside, with a sentiment from Sincere Sentiments).
