There’s Gnomebody Like You!

At Stampendous we’re wild about Gnomes, and our new Gnomes and Friends Die set is so much fun, we can’t stop playing with it!

The sweet set includes everything you need to make large gnomes, small gnomes, girl gnomes, boy gnomes, and a whole woodland of friends and accessories for them to enjoy. There are an incredible 27 pieces in this set, and so many of them can be used with our other great die sets like Snowmen Melt and Truck Load. And, of course, all the gnomes and their friends fit in our new Dome Jar Shaker Die Set for even more fun!

Stampendous and DecoArt Blog Hop Day 5

 

Here we are on our last, and biggest hop day with international mixed media artist Andy Skinner and his wonderful Design Team at DecoArt. We hope you’ve been amazed and delighted at the inspiration we’ve shared with you. Andy’s stamps are just so exciting and fun to use, and we know you’ve loved seeing the range of the DecoArt Fluid Media line as well.

One reason we focused on the Media range for this blog hop, is that it’s the perfect acrylic paint to use when tinting your Dreamweaver Embossing Pastes! Just one drop of these pigment-rich media paints is enough to tint a generous quantity of paste for making your favorite backgrounds. Don’t be afraid to color your pastes to match your projects. Stampendous and DecoArt Blog Hop Day 2

 

We’re playing with Andy Skinner and DecoArt this week! Did you know that Andy Skinner has started a Facebook Group? “Groups” on Facebook are a great way to communicate directly with artists and companies as well as share your projects you make with their products. On a “Page” you can see what the company is sharing and what their focus is for that day. But in a group you can share with other fans and the focus is on you and your interaction with the company or artist. If you’re a Facebook Member you may want to check out these groups and pages, be sure to click on the links when you’re logged in to Facebook:

Stampendous and DecoArt Blog Hop Day 1

We’re super excited this week to play with our friends at DecoArt. Mixed Media Artist and DecoArt International Education Coordinator Andy Skinner has designed some fantastic stamps for Stampendous, and we’re going to be showing them off all week long.

Andy will join us along with his team of international mixed media artists including Julia Stratford-Wright, Mark Gould, Mel Hookham, and Jools Robertson. Plus there will be posts this week on the DecoArt blog as well. Naturally the Stampendous Design Team will be checking in as well.

Here’s a fun project featuring our Cling Blossom Beauty plus our Cling Hydrangea Garden Set and the Hydrangea Garden Cutting Dies Set. This card was made previously by our in-house Sample Artist Debi Hammons. I was able to bling it up very quickly with the addition of just a few hydrangea blossoms cut from the gorgeous turquoise metal sheets. I stamped them with StazOn Ultramarine ink, die cut them with our Sizzix Big Shot, cut between the petals with scissors and crumpled them up a bit, then added some of our gorgeous Teal Micro Glitter with a drop of Zip Dry by Beacon Adhesives. Talk about adding a LOT of Dazzle!!
