Friday is here and we have a fun twist to the spring theme for this week. The stamp images in the spotlight today all have beautiful blossoms in creative containers!
Our Bicycle Basket stamp is full of blossoms and ready for a fresh delivery to your project and it also works great with our Pop Up Stages Die Set for a beautiful spring or summer theme card. Watch this video for a quick way to make the basket of flowers pop.
A children’s wagon is full of pretty planted pots to stroll around the garden looking for the perfect place to set them.
It is time to start hearing cheerful birds outside your patio door and we have an adorable Watering Can stamp with a bird who has a song! It’s just the right size for a gift tag, ATC card and more!
It was great to spotlight our newest spring and garden products this week and you can see them on our website with the rest of our Flower Garden, Spring and Summer selection anytime you need inspiration or new ideas but for today we still have more to share from our design team!

Why, you ask, weren’t winners posted last week? Yes, several of you asked! 🙂 So sorry for the delay, but our amazingly organized and talented Janelle Stollfus has been on vacation. She keeps all our collaborations on task and organized as well as serving on our Design Team for many, many years. She’s a valuable part of the Stampendous Social Media Team and we’d be lost without her. But we guess she deserves a vacation because…
It’s Her Birthday!!
Our Design Team appreciates all the work Janelle does each week to keep us organized and on track. It’s not easy coordinating all those link lists, especially when blogging software tends to have a mind of its own. But she helps everyone on the team fight the zaniness of internet posting and coordinates our prizes, chooses our winners, and really keeps us going. So it’s time to celebrate her! And we all want to get in on the action. Please hop around the blogs below and see the projects our team designed to celebrate Janelle! Maybe even leave a Happy Birthday comment yourself!
Today is our stencil theme post of the week and it complements our fabulous hop with Nathalie and Friends because we love to use stencils with our stamping and mixed media projects.
Included in each of Nathalie’s stamp set is a terrific stencil design to add whimsy, fun and flair to your project. Here are a few fantastic samples of these stencils in action.
To be eligible comment on the Stampendous blog and that of each designer’s post on the hop this week. Each comment is an entry! Give a shout out to your place of residence, we want to see how far our hop goes around the world! We’ll announce winners on Monday June 20.
Now here’s some inspiration from today’s participating designers.
What a fantastic week! Thank you for hopping along with us and we hope as well that you were inspired to create with Stampendous and DecoArt! We loved hearing from the comments that were left on each blog post over the week.
Here we are on our last, and biggest hop day with international mixed media artist Andy Skinner and his wonderful Design Team at DecoArt. We hope you’ve been amazed and delighted at the inspiration we’ve shared with you. Andy’s stamps are just so exciting and fun to use, and we know you’ve loved seeing the range of the DecoArt Fluid Media line as well.
One reason we focused on the Media range for this blog hop, is that it’s the perfect acrylic paint to use when tinting your Dreamweaver Embossing Pastes! Just one drop of these pigment-rich media paints is enough to tint a generous quantity of paste for making your favorite backgrounds. Don’t be afraid to color your pastes to match your projects. Most Dreamweaver Embossing Pastes can be tinted very easily. Here are some examples from our own Leadonna Fritts! You might just recognize some of these made into projects on her blog this week.

Now get hopping and be sure to leave a trail of comments on each of the designer blogs. Each comment gets you one entry for a great prize package (open to everyone) of all three of Andy Skinner’s newest stamps for Stampendous PLUS a Fluid Media Acrylic Starter Kit.
Hope you’ve been enjoying some mad mixed media skills as we hop this week with Andy Skinner and his fantastic international design team from DecoArt. Even if mixed media, grunge, shabby isn’t your favorite look, we want you to know that Andy’s stamps, designed exclusively for Stampendous, can be used for some really fun and adorable art.
