Blog Hop with Arnold Grummer

Arnold Grummer Blog Hop Banner

Have you ever made paper? We’d love to hear about your experiences if you have! At Stampendous, we’ve been making handmade paper for decades, and we even used to distribute the wonderful Arnold Grummer’s Papermaking Kit to our retail stores. We reconnected with this great company at the Creativation show this year. They proposed a fun blog hop! We sent Stampendous products to their team, and they provided papermaking kits to ours.

For the next two weeks, we’ve got some great projects to share with you as the teams play with the wonderful products we’ve exchanged.

Today, check out this beautiful creation by Becky Conley. Click on her name, or the picture to learn more about how she made it!

Christmas in July with BoBunny Vintage Dot Paper

Christmas In July Banner

Our holiday catalog is loaded with gorgeous Bo Bunny background papers. They’re the perfect shades for our Laurel Burch Color Palette, and Bo Bunny donated enough papers for us to make our in-house cards, supply some to our Design Team, and even have a few sheets to give away!!

The Vintage Dot line of papers is yummy! There are lovely dots on one side with a “distressing” of color variation, drips, scratches, and visual texture. The reverse side has a damask, pattern with more distressing used all over. It’s thick, it’s textured, it’s beautiful quality! The colors are perfect! You will love working with this paper.

Bo Bunny Vintage Dot Papers

We used these for our holiday catalog, on our store display board programs, and our Design Team loved them, too! Now, you have a chance to love them, as well! Three winners this week will each receive 10 sheets of BoBunny Vintage Dot Patterned Paper (one each of 10 colors), plus choose our brand new Laurel Burch Cling Holly Cat or Cling Holly Pup stamp! That’s some Christmas Card stamping in the bag!  Leave us a comment telling us whether you’d choose the Cat or the Pup and your three favorite colors from the Vintage Dot Papers line! Please also visit BoBunny on their social media and mention how gorgeous this paper is!  You can find them on Facebook HERE, on Pinterest HERE, or you can tag them on Twitter @BoBunnyPress, or on Instagram  @mybobunny. Our Official Contest Rules are, as always, HERE, and it’s open to U.S. mailing addresses only.

Here are some of the cards we made in-house, Debi Hammons made these cards from images Fran Seiford colored using our Laurel Burch Coloring Guide –

Our Design Team is sharing some Christmas in July that they created using these great papers! Be sure to leave them some love on their blog posts for extra entries into our contest!!  Here’s who is sharing today!

Christmas in July with BoBunny Background Papers – And A Winner!

Christmas In July Banner

We were super blessed for our holiday catalog to be able to play with some of these gorgeous Bo Bunny background papers. They are the perfect palette to coordinate with the Laurel Burch Color Palette, and Bo Bunny was so generous to us and donated enough papers for us to make our in-house cards, supply some to our Design Team, and maybe even have a few sheets to give away!! 😉

The Vintage Dot line of papers is just so gorgeous! There are lovely yellow/gold dots on one side with a “distressing” of color variation, drips, scratches, and just so much visual texture. The reverse side has a gorgeous damask, tone-on-tone pattern with striking distressing used all over. It’s thick, it’s textured, it’s beautiful quality! The colors are just yummy! This is one of those papers that you hate to choose which side to use, because it means the other side gets glued down to your project.

Bo Bunny Vintage Dot Papers

We loved using these in-house for our holiday catalog, we’ve included them on several of our store display board programs, and our Design Team loved them, too! And now, you get a chance to love them as well! We’ll have three winners this week who each receive a package of 10 sheets of BoBunny Vintage Dot Patterned Paper (one each of 10 colors), plus either our brand new Laurel Burch Cling Holly Cat or Cling Holly Pup stamp, winners choice! Oooh… that’s some Christmas Card stamping in the bag!  Just leave us a comment telling us whether you’d choose the Cat or the Pup and which three are your favorite colors from the Vintage Dot Papers line! It would be really sweet if you could visit BoBunny on their social media as well, and mention how gorgeous this paper is!  You can find them on Facebook HERE, on Pinterest HERE, or you can tag them on Twitter @BoBunnyPress, or on Instagram  @mybobunny. Sneak a Peek at Paper! Mixed Media Paper!

CHA Show Banner

One of the things we’re excited about at the Craft and Hobby Association Mega Show is that we can now bring you our very, very favorite white cardstock at a terrific value. Our new Mixed-Media White Paper is a gorgeous, ultra-brilliant, super-white 80lb cover stock that is perfect for any media you enjoy using. It takes alcohol markers beautifully, but also works brilliantly with colored pencils, water colors, acrylic paints, ink refills, embossing and even computer printing. We use it for absolutely everything here in the Stampendous Graphics Department, especially monoprinting with our Creative Palettes. We’re thrilled to be able to offer you a 25 sheet package of 8-1/2″ X 11″ paper for a suggested retail of just $7.99. That’s amazing for a premium paper like this. You’ll just love it – we promise!

Our Mixed Media White Paper will be available on our website January 23, but our wholesale store customers can buy it now. They’re stocking up, so check with your local stamping, scrapbooking or craft store to see if they’ve added it to their shopping list.

Here Fran shows you some favorite projects and techniques using this incredibly versatile paper.

Prize Package from Add a Little Dazzle

Here’s a fun project featuring our Cling Blossom Beauty plus our Cling Hydrangea Garden Set and the Hydrangea Garden Cutting Dies Set. This card was made previously by our in-house Sample Artist Debi Hammons. I was able to bling it up very quickly with the addition of just a few hydrangea blossoms cut from the gorgeous turquoise metal sheets. I stamped them with StazOn Ultramarine ink, die cut them with our Sizzix Big Shot, cut between the petals with scissors and crumpled them up a bit, then added some of our gorgeous Teal Micro Glitter with a drop of Zip Dry by Beacon Adhesives. Talk about adding a LOT of Dazzle!!
