Stampendous crow and raven stamps are among our very top sellers this time of year! In addition to our new Crow Caw stamp, and our classic Raven Background stamp, we also have our terrific Crowscape! This large background stamp is perfect for adding any focal point or greeting! Take a look at this amazing card from Jennifer Dove featuring this image! Love how she tore the top then “stitched” it closed!
Or this fantastic bookmark by Wendy Price showing how even a small part of this stamp can be highly effective!
Some of our Design Team Members would like to share their crow creations with you during our Ravens Rule week! Flap on over and give them some comment treats!
Just a quick reminder that our Challenges can now be found on the page way at the tippy top of our blog! You can see the January inspiration and entries for our Sweet Kiddos theme HERE
We hope you’ll play along with us!

We’re pretty excited about our October products here at Stampendous. While they’re not on our website for retail customers yet, your local stores have been ordering them like crazy! We’re so pleased about the response we’ve received. And just in case your favorite store doesn’t have them yet, don’t hesitate to run in there and squeal in a giddy voice, “Please order all the new Stampendous for me!!!” They’ll leap on it, believe it!
We can’t think how we’ve lived all these years without Vintage Circus stamps! The latest collection to join the Fran•táge look features absolutely no scary clowns, only fun vintage images in wood mounted, Cling Rubber, and Perfectly Clear™ Stamps that will stir your sense of adventure and imagination. Here at Stampendous Life is really a Circus, and we’re celebrating NOW!
We have more Design Team members with terrific samples to show you today, we hope you’ll visit their blogs and leave comments…who knows..the circus might come to your town!!!
Our clever Design Team have made some gorgeous samples for you to look at so you can get an idea how these images could work for you. They’re mostly everyday type images with an eye past the Holidays, so you’ll see some Spring, Valentines, our new Fran•táge Circus images (sure to be a favorite!), and our charming group of children reminiscent of those great books we grew up reading. We really think we’ve got some terrific things to delight you, and this week our Design Team will be bringing you a look at the fun.
You can take a stroll through (or download or print)the book here :

Lisa started by sanding the card stock for a rustic look and stamped the image with Timber Brown Ink. The key was to use the color of the card stock to match each bird, so she used the red paper for the male cardinal and the Coconut Cream for the female. She stamped two images (one in each color), then tore the paper and pieced it together to show off the rustic look of the torn edges. Of course it wouldn’t be Stampendous if we didn’t Fran•táge a little bit, so she also added a bit of the Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel as a dusting of snow for these lovely winter birds. She also used our Scrolled Seasons stamp to finish off the inside, and had a lot of fun tearing paper and creating a flurry of snow with a small round brush (no adhesive was used to make the swirl), and heating the whole thing from underneath.

By the way! (yeah, this two hop weeks in a row thing…not happening again! LOL) you’ve asked about winners for the May Arts blog. We’ll post all winners from both blogs in a big post tomorrow or Monday. It will be tagged Winners so if you search for that at the top of the blog you’ll find it easily, so you don’t miss it! Thanks for your patience.
Core’dinations papers are so beautiful and so versatile. We first learned about them at CHA many years ago, and since then everyone has leapt on the bandwagon for this beautiful product. We’re finally getting to join together with this great company and showcase some of our terrific images using their wonderful paper. So sit back and enjoy, there’s lots of inspiration from our team and theirs this week.
We’re going to start off with a lovely scrapbook page made by our Scrapbooking Team member Stephanie Lee. Arty Carty, as you may know her, has created a stunning layout celebrating an important anniversary using some Black Core’dinations cardstock and the border from the Cling Jumbo Amaryllis stamp from Stampendous. She’ll have details on this great layout on her blog later in the week, so keep watching!
Our very own Cyndi Bundy has a terrific card as well using Core’dinations Kraft Core and Black Magic cardstocks. Cyndi has used our Punkin Kitty image to make a terrific Halloween card.
You can see that with all the potential for Sanding, Embossing, distressing, coloring, and on and on that exists with beautiful Core’dinations paper, we’re going to have some serious fun this week! And you know there will be prizes! Make insightful, delightful comments (the kind that show you looked at the project) on the blogs below, and you may find yourself winning some fantastic Stampendous images and some Core’dinations of your own to play with. We’ll choose random comments from random blogs each day this week. Then join us on Saturday when everything comes together in all new projects on a big huge hop! (Don’t worry…our Saturday Challenge hasn’t gone anywhere. The October theme is Fabulous Florals, and you can read about it HERE)
