  1. The Laurel Burch images are so beautiful–hadn’t noticed the Fish Wishes before. What a lovely cards! A memorable BD was when I turned 21 while out of state for college. My friends took me to an amusement park which actually had free parking way back then–perfect for poor college kids! We rode the carousel & acted like it was a party for a 6 yr old–lots of fun!

  2. My family surprised me for my 50th birthday. Bob and I had been camping. I’d come
home all grungy and tired – was going to do some cleaning when I got home. Imagine
my surprise when we pulled up and there are all these people there waiting to shout
“happy birthday”. Bob couldn’t tell me to get cleaned up before we left so I showed
up looking pretty rough. Got cleaned up and thoroughly enjoyed the party anyway.
those were the good old days.

  3. Beautiful cards!
My best birthday ever was the year hubby paid for me to go on a Bingo/casino bus trip! He packed for me, arranged time off from work and gave me casino money too! I found out about it when he took me to the bus stop and told me to have fun! Totally surprised because he doesn’t usually do anything at all! Best birthday surprise ever!

  4. My youngest nephew just turned 5 and he is such a joy to watch open presents. I even let him open my Christmas presents when he is done with his. His birthday was 2 weeks ago and he opened his presents with squeals of delight. I think for him the fun is in the opening, but no matter what he makes it a big deal.

  5. My funniest birthday story… when I was about 9, I was so excited to be having a slumber party at my house to celebrate my birthday. The morning of the party, my Mom decided I need a haircut and that she could just do it herself… ha! I ended up looking like she’d put a bowl on my head and trimmed around it. I was in tears…. and my friends would be arriving that afternoon for the big party! My Mom had to rush me downtown to the hair salon so a beautician could ‘fix’ my hair! Luckily, she was able to do some repair to it and it turned out OK. We made it back home and finished our preparation for the party! Whew!

  6. My most memorable birthday, would probably be when my husband gave me our puppy. He’s the most adorable thing ever. He’s 8 years old now, still as cute as he was the day I got him. 💗💗💗

  9. My first memorable surprise party was when I was 13. Birthdays were usually just our family. On my birthday my mom kept asking me if I wanted to take a shower and change my clothes. I didn’t and boy was I surprised when a group of my friends came over for my birthday party.
