We were very excited to add to our collection of Laurel Burch images in our April Catalog. These whimsical images which lend to bright, beautiful colors just have us completely enchanted. We’ll look this week at some of the new images and then a little later on in May at the rest of them. Remember that our Laurel Burch Coloring Guide is yours to download so that you can get the Laurel Burch look on your own projects.

We might add, that in confirming that our winners have U.S. mailing addresses (because you know you must), we checked out Dawn’s blog, much to our delight! Dawn has, apparently, had a long and illustrious career as a baby-wrangler for movies and television, and her blog is one of the most entertaining things we’ve stumbled upon in a long time! Check it out at Will Work for O’s!! Better get a beverage first, Dawn has enough fantastic stories to keep you busy for a long time!
Lucky Winners, please email us at email@example.com with your U.S. mailing addresses and we’ll get your little trip to Paris out to you right away! Thanks for playing along with us!
It’s time to say au revoir to our Paris Bonjour set! But it’s certainly not adieu! You’ll see a lot more of this great set in the future, and we are adding new projects to our website all the time! Just visit http://www.stampendous.com and search Paris up at the top to watch as they get uploaded! Today we want to show you our fabulous 6″ X 6″ Paris Map Cling Rubber Stamp. This awesome background is great for all your travel memories, it’s a wonderful map of Paris, completely hand-drawn by Fran herself. She was inspired to do this by a trip she took to Paris last Summer. They walked 29K steps all over this magical city!
Here are some of the samples Fran made with the Paris Bonjour Set and the Paris Map. You can click on them to see them larger, and we will work on putting them up on the website as well. Notice where she has used the free fleur de lis stencil that comes with the stamp set (the small ones), and where she has used the large fleur de lis die cut that comes in the cutting dies set. Remember, we’ll give away three sets to lucky winners, with U.S. Addresses, who comment!!!
Take a quick look at this wonderful set along with Fran in her newest YouTube video:
There is more inspiration available from our Design Team! Be sure to stop by their blogs and wish them bon voyage as their dreams take flight for Paris!!

Stampendous friend, Donna Cennimo, a decorative painter, created this gorgeous canvas featuring Stampendous butterflies and embossing powders. We are so excited that she shared them with us, and we thought you’d enjoy seeing this wonderfully colored nod to Spring.
Donna embossed each butterfly with two layers of Chunky Clear Embossing Powder then added colors as desired. She used Detail Black, Silver Tinsel, Purple, Blue, Chunky Gold and Chunky Silver on different areas of the butterflies. Then she attached them to one of her paintings and she has some left for other amazing projects.
Here are some closeups of the butterflies –
Thanks, Donna, for sharing such a pretty, Spring project with us. Your painting is wonderful and your army of butterflies are a colorful bit of cheer!!
We’re sharing more of our Spring samples with you today! So much gorgeous inspiration! Our team has definitely done it again!
Our in-house team isn’t too shabby either! We are so lucky to have the super-talented Tammie Wilson working in our Sales Department. She’s an amazing Decorative Painter and she has created some beautiful projects for us. Some of them use our wonderful Spring products.
Take a look at her gorgeous Dutch Tulips box. It features our 8″ X 8″ Decor Cling Script stamp in the background. These great backgrounds are so wonderful for the painting crowd, they’re just loving them! It’s so easy to apply ink or acrylic paint to the stamp.
Isn’t it beautiful??!! Tammie was even kind enough to write out the directions for us so that we can add it as a project to our website. This was all done with acrylic paints, and her easy instructions make it so much more doable than you would guess. What a lovely gift to make for someone special!
Our team is sharing some wonderful projects this week as well. We know you’ll stop by their blogs and give them some love. And the fabulous Sue Drees from the House-Mouse and Friends Design Team has joined us as well with a wonderful project featuring theseDutch Tulips.
Spring is still in the Air at Stampendous! We have lots of great projects left to share with you!

The Fresh Peony and the Coneflower both have wonderful masks/templates/stencil included for free in the package. They also each include a couple wonderful sentiments to make creating a card that much easier. Their matching dies make creating whole bouquets of wonderfulness that much simpler as well.
Here are a few of Fran’s great samples:
These samples are all on our website as well. Just head to http://www.stampendous.com and search for Fresh Peony or Coneflower in the search box at the top to see the products and projects featuring these stamps.

Our January catalog introduced some great, new Laurel Burch stamp images to our line, as well. We’re going to share them this week, along with some great inspiration from our design team! We hope you’ll leap in and leave some love for our newest products and our team’s efforts!
The new January Cling Rubber Stamp sets with coordinating cutting dies are (click on the photos to be taken to the product on our website):
Their matching cutting dies –
You can see, right away, that both of these sets lend themselves to a very mixed media approach to Laurel Burch. While maintaining the brilliant color palette, the dies let you cut shapes from paste papers, background papers, old photos, and so much more! Adding the stamp over the top defines the images and creates the look. They’re so fun! Here are some of the projects we’ve created with them, always using our colors in proportion to the Laurel Burch Coloring Guide we developed. All of these samples were created by Fran Seiford for our January Catalog.
Some of our Design Team have projects to share with you today! And there will be more on Wednesday!! Come on Back. But first, stop by and give our team some love!
The amazing Vicky Papaioannou is playing in her art journal again, and she’s chosen some of our favorite new stamps! Our wonderful Coneflowers are taking shape in her book which is surely destined to be a Greek national treasure when she’s finished.
Enjoy her gorgeous artwork! We’ll be featuring all of our new flowers in a week of blogs, March 19-23. But we just couldn’t wait to share this incredible video with you!
