So this week we’re playing with the amazing papers from Core’dinations. For those of you unfamiliar with these papers they have a coordinating color core paper that is different from the outside color. Thus when you emboss them with raised embossing dies and sand the raised image it appears a different color. The color can also be revealed by tearing, die cutting, and just sanding the flat paper with a nifty sanding block tool (or any kind of sanding substance you have at home). There are several lines including Kraft Core where the inner core of all colors is kraft, Black Magic where the outside is black with a colored inner core, Bright Colors, Dark Colors, Glitter Silk…the list goes on.. You can see all the selections on Core’dinations’ very exciting website.
We’ve got some excitement here, too! Our designer Wendy Price sent me this super cute card using Stampendous Garden Background Stamp and some gorgeous Core’dinations paper! I believe I spy some Lavender Glass Glitter on there as well! What a gorgeous and feminine card!
Do take this opportunity to hop around to all the blogs playing today. Such a wealth of great ideas for combining Stampendous images with Core’dinations paper! You’ll love what you learn and you may even win some paper and stamps if you leave “delightful and insightful” comments wherever you visit!
Wow this is gorgeous! Love that tulle!

This is one gorgeous girly card! The little bit of glitter is the perfect touch on that background stamp (another one to add to my wishlist!) I love scallops & I’m glad to see someone else likes them lined up as well as off-set & only 2 rows instead of 3. Gotta try sanding some of these papers–always intended to do it, but never have. Thank you for the inspiration today!
