Can you believe the summer has gone by so quickly? This week’s STMC20 Challenge is Back to School. Rachel from the Gingerbread Gallery used a combination of two of the most popular school sets – School for Max (SSC675) and Book Trio (SSC676). Rachel started off by creating my background paper by stamping the A+ stamp all over the Kraft paper with Versafine Onyx Black ink. She added a layer of patterned paper and then prepared the top layer of patterned paper by using the Binding Edge Edger Punch. She colored the Max images and apple image using Copics and added a little highlight with a white gel pen. Finally she punched them all out using Nestabilities dies and popped them up on the card with 3D foam tape. So fun! Join in on the fun and play along for your chance to win a wonderful prize from Stampendous! Simply comment below with a link to your entry and for the full Saturday challenge rules click here. There is also a wonderful Stampendous Flickr Group you can join and show off all your beautiful Stampendous creations. Hope you all get a chance to play along. Have a great day!
And now we announce the winners of last week’s pail challenge:
Carol! She made this cute citrus pail using the Fresh Fruit Perfectly Clear Stamp Set. It is so sweet and the vibrant colors make it look fresh and festive! What a great pail to use as gift packaging for any occasion!
And congratulations to Melissa who made this brilliant pail using the popular Ruffled Bloom woodmounted stamp which now comes in cling rubber, too! She did a wonderful job filling in the stamp with cool colors and the lace border is a great touch!
We’d also like to show you a winner from Sketch Challenge 19. Jan made the coolest card using Class A’Peels and the Sticker Background Technique. You have to see how she did it. Check out all the details on her Far North Designs Blog! I have to say that Jan made quite an impressive card! Especially since she said that she had a bit of a challenge trying to perfect the Sticker Background Technique. But it looks like she got it and perfected it! The SBT does take a few time to figure out, but once you do the outcome is gorgeous glittery texture. It really makes a card look glamorous!
Jan used the Rhinestone Butterfly Class A’Peel stickers, Therm o Web Peel n Stick Double Sided Adhesive, Royal Ultra Fine Jewel Glitter, Gold Fine Jewel Glitter and various other colors of Jewel Glitter.
Thanks for choosing my pail as a winner last week! It was a lot of fun to make. Here’s my School theme project for this week:

I’ve made many sets of these notecards for teachers. Sometimes I stamp a variety of messages on the cards, other times stamp the teacher’s name or initials on the card fronts.
