It’s the most wonderful time of the week… Stampendous Saturday Sketch Challenge day! Our challenge this week is using Class A’ Peel stickers. And for an added bonus, if you use the Sticker Background Technique and you win the contest, we will give you two prizes!! Here are a few of the projects our design team made with Class A’Peels:
Cyndi made this spooky scrapbook page with these Stampendous products: AC1004 Jumbo Bats Class A’Peel Stickers, 355U Tigerlily Ultra Fine Pearl Glitter, 269U Moss Green Ultra Fine Jewel Glitter and 363U Lavender Ultra Fine Pearl Glitter.
Pam made this detailed little number. For the tiles, she used the Stampendous Sticker Background Technique. She placed Therm o Web Peel n Stick on two squares of cardstock. She cut the same size square of the Leafy Swirls Class A’Peel’s while still on the carrier. Pam sponged some ink over the surface to tone down a bit of the shine, removed the positive image of the sticker and placed on one of the Peel n Stick squares and filled the blank sticky spaces in with flock. Then she used the reverse image left on the carrier, applied it using the tape technique* to the opposite Peel n Stick square, and filled in the empty sticky spaces with Emerald Jewel Glitter. Then she cut each square into four tiles and mounted two of each on metallic gold panels for two cards. She added the sentiment from the Star Greetings Class A’Peels set at the bottom of the gold panels along with a few stars from that same set of stickers. For a few of these stickers she covered the sticky back in flock or glitter and adhered them to the card with double-sided foam adhesive. she used strips of tacky tape across the card front and covered in glitter and Envious Green Fun Flock as well.
Wendy made this pretty little lilac card. She had just finished creating a sample using the Jumbo Damask Leaf Class A’Peels when she was looking at the center scraps left over and couldn’t bare to just throw them away. She thought they would make great flower stems. The leaves came from the scrap centers of the Scrollwork Border Class A’Peels. And she added a few Dot Sparklers in Violet Holograph for flowers.
And the moment you’ve all been waiting for… last week’s challenge winners are…
Krissy! Everyone loved this cheery snowman card! We love how she layered the snowbanks and separated them by putting glitter on the top outline of each hill. Very fun! In her card she used the Snowflake Symphony Perfectly Clear Stamps for the background the Winter Warm Clear Stamp Set and the Snow Place Clear Stamp Set
And congratulations to Melissa, too! She made this fun Fluffles card and used patterned paper for the packages which we love! Super cute! To make a card like Melissa’s, you need the Fluffles the Cat Perfectly Clear Stamp Set.
