The House-Mouse and Friends Design Challenge Blog offers challenges every two weeks to keep you playing with your House-Mouse, Gruffies, and Happy Hoppers stamp images. If you create a card for the challenge and post it anywhere online, you can enter to win a great prize. To check out their bi-weekly challenges, visit the HMFCB Site.
The current challenge is Christmas (or Anything Goes), and we were so excited to see all of the HMFCB teamies using new images from the Stampendous House-Mouse Designs® collection! The blog has lots of inspiration, as well, for your own Holiday greetings featuring the House-Mouse characters. Plus, our own Design Team has been sharing with these fun friends, and you can find their posts here –
May 6 is National Nurse’s Day and we wanted to say Thank You to the dedicated folks doing this really difficult job. Such caring and thoughtful workers deserve some Mousey Love and our House-Mouse friends have just the love they deserve. (Aren’t they looking sweet? Ellen drew little masks on them!)
We have several House-Mouse Designs® stamps perfect for honoring your favorite healthcare workers, or just for saying “Hope you Feel Better” to friends and family.
Here are some sweet cards made with these images:
And a super cute card using the Kitten Cast image is being shared by our Design Team member today:
National Cocoa Day is upon us! Oooh… so many sweet treats this month. Amanda, Maxwell, and Mudpie are enjoying a warm cup of cocoa with mini marshmallows under the Christmas tree. Do you enjoy a sweet cocoa now and then? Let us know how you take your hot chocolate – a hint of peppermint? add a cinnamon stick? lots of marshmallows? Leave a comment here for a chance to win our darling House-Mouse Designs® image Sharing a Sip in your choice of wood mounted or cling rubber. We’ll send three lucky winners a stamp to a U.S. Mailing Address (of course our Official Contest Rules apply).
Here’s a sweet card by our Design Team member Jamie Martin that you can create from the products on our website – (click on the picture for the details).

Speaking of cocoa, we also have our wonderful marshmallow snowman this year, soaking in his Cocoa Hot Tub! This cute card from Alison Heikkila is colored so beautifully.
And this card by Cards and Coffee Time’s Tina Smith is just stunning! (and really shows off the shaved ice she put in the shaker card background, too.)
Be sure to visit their blogs and leave them all some love!!
What could be sweeter than National Cookie Day?? December 4th is celebrated by some companies that love cookies. You can celebrate with a free cookie at these!
Our delightful friends at House-Mouse Designs® just love cookies. Mudpie and Muzzy are so excited about those cookie ornaments someone hung on the lowest branches!
We’ll give away three of this fun image in your choice of wood mounted or cling rubber! Just leave a comment here before the end of the day on Friday, December 6th telling us what your favorite kind of cookie is… do you bake holiday cookies… do you dunk your cookies or prefer them dry…. give us your cookie deets! Of course our Official Contest Rules apply, and you must have a U.S. Mailing Address.
Here’s a super easy holiday card featuring our Cookie Ornaments stamp! You can find this card in your local stamp store along with instructions and supplies for creating your own. Happy National Cookie Day!

We love our mousey friends at House-Mouse Designs®, and these little characters are always up to the happiest hijinks anywhere. We’ve caught them scampering around for Spring and they couldn’t be more delightful. And our Design Team just loves coloring this wonderful work by artist Ellen Jareckie.
Ellen colors the House-Mouse Designs characters with colored pencils and turpenoid or gamsol or with ProMarkers. You can watch her coloring in our booth at CHA the year we launched the House-Mouse Designs® stamps here: (sorry about the vertical video, we didn’t know any better back then)
You can see the ProMarkers coloring chart on the House-Mouse.comwebsite by clicking HERE.
We also have coloring charts for these wonderful characters on our website. There are charts for Copic Markers, Distress Markers, Tombow Markers, Irotijen Colored Pencils, and Spectrum Noir Markers. These easy references are available HERE.
One of the things we’ve loved most about carrying the House-Mouse Designs images is working with the House-Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge Blog folks. These wonderful blogs, a new challenge every two weeks, have so much inspiration and wonderful chances to win free products. Our good friends at Simon Says Stamp sponsor prizes for this blog, and designers from all over the world play along and share their wonderful cards! Do visit and leave some nice comments about their hard work.
The most fun we’re having with our newest mousey offerings is with this Perfectly Clear Stamps™ Set – So Sweet
These adorable mice have some of our happiest greetings yet, and they’re just perfect for jumping out of baskets, sitting on cupcakes, admiring your yummy garden veggies and jumping for joy. Check out these adorable cards by our in-house Sample Artist, Debi Hammons! Notice how Debi added mice from the So Sweet set to the Birthday Mischief, Juggling Berries, and Cheese Puff cards for added fun!
Of course our Design Team is ready to share some great projects with you, and we’ve got links for some of the House-Mouse and Friends Design Team as well. Hop around this week and leave as many mice comments as you can, we’ll give away 3 of the So Sweet sets this week to U.S. Winners by randomly drawing from the comments.
We’re in love with our Spring Borders Die set! If you missed the Monday post, be sure to check it out here! MONDAY
We’re continuing today with an in-depth look at two more of the dies in this set!
The first one is the darling heart cut-out die! This die is designed to cut a “window” in your card’s 5-1/4″ X 4″ or larger, layer. It allows for paper piecing or a lovely peek at the inside of the card. Cutting it out also provides you with lots of little hearts you can use as confetti in your card.
The next die is the Ribbon Threader Die. These darling daisies just beg for a ribbon, twine, or strip of patterned paper to be threaded through their little holes. Such a cute way to add ribbon to a card or project!
Take a look at the great designs by our Design Team today! Be sure to leave them a nice comment so we can enter you to win your own set of Spring Borders Dies.
