SKETCH CHALLENGE #40 by Krissy Fossmeyer

We have another Stampendous Sketch Challenge for you! This time it is by Krissy Fossmeyer.

If you’d like to join in on the fun, make a card with Stampendous stamps and post your sample card by Tuesday, June 14th. Be sure and leave a link to your blog with your sample. We will post the winner by Saturday June 18th. (NOTE: We can’t mail prizes to addresses outside of the United States and its Territories. International fans are welcome to play, but you can only win if you have a US, territorial or APO mailing address. Also, our comments are moderated, so don’t worry if your post doesn’t show up right away.)

Here is the sketch to follow and below is Krissy’s sample card. What beautiful work.

Krissy’s sketch sample

“The card I created based on this sketch is the wedding card I made for our church’s lay minister, Joe and his bride, Sarah.  This was the first time I got this Happy Couple inky. It was also the first time I added stick pins to a card – I’ll be doing that again soon.  I love the extra bling!”

“Sorry this isn’t the best picture.  We’ve had rain for days in our area.  I’m about ready to start buidling an ark!  As bad as our weather is, though, it’s no where near as bad as the areas that have experienced tornadoes recently.  My thoughts and prayers are with all those who have suffered any loss.

I hope you’ll want to join in my sketch challenge, can’t wait to see what you create!  Take time to get inky today!”  _Krissy

Sketch Challenge #38 WINNER is Michelle Peterson!

Congratulations Michelle! Stampendous Art Director, Lisa Hindsley, has picked Michelle Peterson as the winner and explained why she chose this particular card.

“I chose Michelle as the winner, because the sketch challenge inspired her to come up with yet another ‘never seen before’ use of a stamp set that has been around for a while. It’s always fun to see something really new done with something you have made several cards with. I loved the way she used the patterned paper on the ties, and made a pattern with the paint brushes- and especially loved that ruler on the edge of the card! Very edgy!”

A big thanks to all participants. You make our Sketch Challenges a success!

Butterfly for Any Occassion

Blog Star Kristine Reynolds has a great idea and beautiful sample card for us.

“I have another clean and simple card to share with you today.  I left the card sentiment free so that it can be used for any purpose.  I like to keep a few of these on hand all the time.  You can send it out the way it is or quickly stamp a sentiment on it so that it fits whatever occasion you need a card for!” – Kristine Reynolds
