It’s National Craft Month!

It’s all crafts all month! National Craft Month is here! We hope that you’ll take the opportunity this March to start a new craft, or finish up some old ones, or maybe even introduce a friend or loved one to a craft you enjoy!

Our own Fran Seiford had tons of fun recently crafting with her Mushroom Home and Cottage Home stamp and die sets! These little creations look so darling when you add them to your gardenscape for a party or event. They’re perfect for a patio or terrarium, or craft them of sturdier materials for normal outdoor use. Click to enlarge photos. Check out this VIDEO on YouTube to see how Fran made them.

Scrapbooking with Pretty Poinsettias

Happy Wednesday, everyone! Today we’re taking a quick look at our Cling Create A Poinsettia stamp to design terrific layouts for the holidays! This week is turning out some fantastic projects with this pointed leaf and we wouldn’t want to forget our scrapbooking peeps who love to use their Stampendous stamps on layouts.

This layouts is very festive and quick with large amounts of journal space.

Create a Poinsettia Red Scrapbook Page by Fran Seiford

For a mixed media style layout use the Creative Palette Rounds Monoprinting Plate to create the layout. Make a few prints of red and die cut them out with Create A Poinsettia Die Cut Set for a three-dimensional flower embellishment. All that’s left is to add is your fun memories to the page.

Create A Poinsettia

Welcome back to another day of pretty poinsettias! We had a chance to see in video we posted yesterday all the possibilities using Create A Poinsettia Cling Stamp and Die Cut Set, but did you spot Fran’s great idea for keeping track of the parts of the free template included in the stamp package? How about her tip for lining up the dies onto the image for cutting quickly and efficiently every time? If not, stop by Monday’s blog post and see the video.

Today is a sneak peek at the products themselves before a little project treat or two as well. This gorgeous poinsettia flower arrangement is accompanied by a vintage style greeting for a great card or scrapbook page and yes holiday ornaments, too!

The coordinating die cut set will help layer the poinsettia flower into four sections, but really you can stamp and layer until it looks just they way you want. Just stamp out a few extra flowers from to create a beautiful three-dimensional effect with it.

One of the possibilities Fran shared in the video is to use thin chipboard cut with the dies to add stability to each flower layer and  then add a jump rings to attach beads and a hook or loop for a pretty ornament. Here’s her finished sample she started in the video and it turned out beautiful!

Create Pretty Poinsettias

Happy Monday, friends! We have a fabulously floral week in store for you with Create A Poinsettia Stamp Set, coordinating  Poinsettia Die Cut Set,  and Chameleon Color Tone Pens along with other fine coloring tools to share this favorite holiday flower.

We’re still at the Craft and Hobby Association Trade Show. The Wifi here is TERRIBLE, but we’re sending all the peeks we can when we get to the rare hotspots around the show area.  Thanks for your patience.

Layered Bezels and Pendants

 

We just love this idea! We have had lots of generous companies donate bezels for our jewelry creations featuring stamps and resin, but the ability to make our own bezels using our Pop-Up Die Set is just sooooo thrilling. And when you combine the gorgeous painting talent of Debbie Cole, well, you just get some stunning results. Here’s a closer look! (you can click on it to make it larger!)

Paper Arts is coming to Atlanta!

CHA – Until Next Time

Well, we’ve just wrapped up 4-1/2 exhausting days of fun and creativity at CHA! We’re always so excited for the opportunity to show our newest products and ideas to our customers and designers from all over the world. Here’s a little peek at how our booth looked!

The center panel which showcases our newest product lines!

Towards the right end we were featuring our new Stack Art and  Mixed Media products.

This area showcases our various powders. Embossing Enamels and Powders, Glitters, Glass Glitters, Color Fragments, Mica, etc.

To the left of the center we have our newest House-Mouse Designs® images and other wood and cling stamps.

 

This left end panel shows just a handful of the gorgeous samples we get from our terrific Design Team. We put lots of them on boards for display.

Here’s a final look down the length of our booth.

We had a lovely, long space with lots of room to place orders and relax! Gorgeous!
