We’re so excited when folks use our products. Several of our Design Team Alumni naturally have a sizeable Stampendous stash, so when they break it out to do something special it always warms our hearts. Our DT is such a big, happy family, that it’s like having your daughter come home from college for the weekend when one of our gals plays with some of our goodies. Here’s what we’ve spotted around the web recently.
We’re keeping our eyes open for fantastic Stampendous projects from past Design Team Members or anyone, for that matter! Let us know at submissions@stampendous.com if you post something on your blog that you’d like us to mention! And be sure to enter our February challenge! Only a few more days left!
Our challenge to you this December is to make a Clean and Simple Christmas Card and enter it in our contest (of COURSE we’ll accept your other card-sending, December holidays!!) All you need to do is create a CAS card and click on the Cattus Librum link below or to the right and add the link to your card or cards. They’ll even count double if you use Stampendous image stamps! (yes, we know your favorite “Merry Christmas” is Stampendous… but we want you to use our images, too!) Let’s look at some super simple ideas from our Design Team for your holiday stamping this year! It’s not too late to get these fantastic images from our website!
First up, an adorable card by our own in-house Sample Artist Debi Hammons. Debi made this card for Michaels Stores, and you can only buy this adorable Snowman Couple at Michaels (unless your LSS has one from last year). You might want to run out speedy quick to your local Michaels and pick them up.
Jumbo Snowfall Pair by Debi Hammons
Super cute, super simple – some fun cutting dies and some markers and WOW… your relatives are calling you to apologize for sending that store bought greeting to you! DT member Taylor Usry created a fantastic project here using our Snow Globe Kiddo Perfectly Clear stamp!
For a more inspirational card, how about this fantastic card by Kristine Reynolds?!! We love how simple it is in spite of looking so fantastic! You can find all the supplies and directions for this project (and bunches more) in the Project Section of our website HERE
So there’s a dose of inspiration for you! Create a CAS card and enter it in our challenge for a chance to win some fun goodies. The challenge ends early this month, on the 20th!, so be sure to get cracking on those Christmas creations!

Also remember this is the last week for our October Saturday Challenge – Fabulous Florals. Remember if your floral card features a flower from Stampendous Stamps your entry counts double.
Lisa started by sanding the card stock for a rustic look and stamped the image with Timber Brown Ink. The key was to use the color of the card stock to match each bird, so she used the red paper for the male cardinal and the Coconut Cream for the female. She stamped two images (one in each color), then tore the paper and pieced it together to show off the rustic look of the torn edges. Of course it wouldn’t be Stampendous if we didn’t Fran•táge a little bit, so she also added a bit of the Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel as a dusting of snow for these lovely winter birds. She also used our Scrolled Seasons stamp to finish off the inside, and had a lot of fun tearing paper and creating a flurry of snow with a small round brush (no adhesive was used to make the swirl), and heating the whole thing from underneath.
So if you want to win some prizes – visit these blogs below and leave comments! We’ll draw random bloggers to choose random commenters to win!
By the way! (yeah, this two hop weeks in a row thing…not happening again! LOL) you’ve asked about winners for the May Arts blog. We’ll post all winners from both blogs in a big post tomorrow or Monday. It will be tagged Winners so if you search for that at the top of the blog you’ll find it easily, so you don’t miss it! Thanks for your patience.
Core’dinations papers are so beautiful and so versatile. We first learned about them at CHA many years ago, and since then everyone has leapt on the bandwagon for this beautiful product. We’re finally getting to join together with this great company and showcase some of our terrific images using their wonderful paper. So sit back and enjoy, there’s lots of inspiration from our team and theirs this week.
We’re going to start off with a lovely scrapbook page made by our Scrapbooking Team member Stephanie Lee. Arty Carty, as you may know her, has created a stunning layout celebrating an important anniversary using some Black Core’dinations cardstock and the border from the Cling Jumbo Amaryllis stamp from Stampendous. She’ll have details on this great layout on her blog later in the week, so keep watching!
Our very own Cyndi Bundy has a terrific card as well using Core’dinations Kraft Core and Black Magic cardstocks. Cyndi has used our Punkin Kitty image to make a terrific Halloween card.
You can see that with all the potential for Sanding, Embossing, distressing, coloring, and on and on that exists with beautiful Core’dinations paper, we’re going to have some serious fun this week! And you know there will be prizes! Make insightful, delightful comments (the kind that show you looked at the project) on the blogs below, and you may find yourself winning some fantastic Stampendous images and some Core’dinations of your own to play with. We’ll choose random comments from random blogs each day this week. Then join us on Saturday when everything comes together in all new projects on a big huge hop! (Don’t worry…our Saturday Challenge hasn’t gone anywhere. The October theme is Fabulous Florals, and you can read about it HERE)

Wendy posted directions for this cool card on her blog HERE!
We’re back for Day 2 of our week long romp through the spools of ribbon with the folks at May Arts! Today we’re bringing you some Design Team Inspiration from:
And here on the home front we’re sharing with you just how a gorgeous piece of wide, silk ribbon can spice up an easy gift idea! Painting this inexpensive wooden “basket” from Michaels Stores with acrylic paint then embossing on it with our Cling Jumbo Pinecone Boughs, Aged Green Embossing Enamel and Carnelian PEARLustre Embossing Powder was simple. Adding the bright red ribbon just finished it off and made it so completely festive! A fast easy way to a gift container that will be used over and over for gift giving or to hold pencils, brushes, silk plants or any number of things. Wow!
Wanna win some ribbon and stamps? Visit all the blogs above and leave insightful comments (the kind that let us know you really looked at the project). We’ll choose a random blogger each day to pick a random winner! Congratulations to Monday’s winner from Wendy Jordan’s Blog:

We’re so happy to see by your comments that you’re getting lots of inspiration from our Handmade Holiday Gift ideas this week. We’ve got some more ideas for you today. First we’d love to show you another project from our terrific Tammie Wilson. She took some vintage luggage and turned it into a darling piece of home decor for any feminine room. Stack them for an adorable end table or night stand, separate them for a darling display anywhere. And she used some of our girliest stamps and Fran•táge accessories. You can find the complete supply list and directions for this great project HERE
We have some fantastic Design Team projects for you as well today. Be sure to check out these blogs and leave your comments. We’ll be giving away some of the fantastic stamps used to create these projects to inspire your handmade holiday creations.
Here at Stampendous our favorite products are those gorgeous jars of powdered goodness that melt when you heat them into wonderful backgrounds, borders, and focal points. Yep, heat embossing powders and enamels.
We keep mixing up new, wonderful powders for our fans, and our new Fran•táge Embossing Enamels are already favorites with stampers worldwide. Why not treat yourself to a new powder or two, or pull out one you bought but haven’t tried? We’re going to be showcasing some cool techniques this month. You can find all our embossing powders on our website HERE – or find a local retailer near you!
Your creations submitted for September’s Challenge don’t have to use Stampendous images, but if they do, they’ll count as two entries. You need to have your submissions linked to our linky tool below by 11:59pm PDT on October 4th. You may enter as many times as you like.
Our prizes this month are, not surprisingly, some of our Exclusive Fran•táge Embossing Enamels. How about our newest colors??! We’ll choose three winners to receive some super hot Essentials.
Of course you know our favorite embossing technique right now is Fran’s Encrusted Jewel Technique. This super easy, but super dynamic way of creating cool, dazzling, vintage pieces is really fun, and we just can’t get enough. Our Design Team has been using this technique and these gorgeous Enamels for several months, now, with stunning results. They’ve created a batch of terrific projects for you to enjoy. Here’s a link to each of their blogs. The links will stay up all month so you can see all their projects any time.
We’re in our final week of August’s Focus on the Sentiment Challenge. You have until Thursday, August 30 at 11:59pm Pacific Daylight Time to submit your project to our Linky Tool at the bottom of this post and be entered to win one of three prizes of our new Cling Rubber Sentiments from the new July Catalog. Remember that you don’t have to use Stampendous stamps on your project to enter, but if you do, your entry counts double! We sure hope you’ll make something to show us!
I’m revisiting a previous project from one of our Design Team members today. Jennifer Ingle (aka Jingle) tells me we posted this when she was a BlogStar, but I think it just shows how you don’t necessarily have to have a lot of stamps if you’ve got some good sentiments! The greeting on this card is from the extremely popular Friendship Assortment Perfectly Clear Set that has so many good sentiments in it. The card also features the fantastic border pattern from the beautiful Cling Jumbo Romantic Border Set.
And here’s Jingle’s Beautiful Card!
So simple, so elegant, so fantastic! So…let’s see what inspiration the Design Team are providing you for your projects that feature the Sentiment as the Star. Remember that the newest posts are at the top of the grid. Check them out, leave some love, then create a project of your own (doesn’t have to be a card) and link it by clicking on the Changito linky tool below before end of day Thursday! Can’t wait to see what you create!
