New Pink Your Life Stamps with Stencils

We have a whimsical pair up today with the Pink Your Life Blog Hop and our stencil centric Thursday theme.

Though any of our metal stencils will add a touch of whimsy to a stamped project, our design team’s go-to stencil is the Picasso Shield/Stencil Tool for creating soft clouds and details, so we were delighted to see a fresh idea with Nicoletta Zanella’s videos using the Picasso to add a few rolling hills and extra details to these two stamped projects.

New Pink Your Life Stamps

It’s time for a week of new whimsical Whisper Friends. We introduced this fantastic line of stamp images in July and we have new fun spring images to share with you from our October catalog!

The artist behind these new stamp line is Nicoletta Zanella and you can see all her Pink Your Life projects on her blog Stanza della Creativitá, or Room of Creativity where she often shares them in upbeat video tutorials. Here is a video from Nicoletta with an introduction to the latest release of stamps.

We love these new friends and so thrilled to be spending a week sharing all the new images, so hop along with us and our designers for some very exciting inspiration.

Halloween Hoot-Out

Happy H-OWL-Oween everyone!  It’s the wrap up to our Owl Theme this week and sadly to our month long string of Halloween themed posts. We have so much more to share though from the July Catalog and you’ll start seeing more projects with NEW products from the October Catalog. It’s just exciting to know what’s ahead and a bit ornery to keep it to ourselves. Not for long though, because we like to share and share we must.

Yes, there is something we can tell you. The October Monthly Blog Challenge is officially closed and we’ll be announcing the winner at the beginning of next week. Thank you to all who participated and filled the Link Party with your Halloween Haunts!

It’s been a great week of owls and  still more to see today! Debi Hammons created these samples with Steampunk Owl for Michael’s that we just adore. Each card uses the same stamp sets (Steampunk Owl and Autumn Words) and with just a few changes in color or effect they make a nice trio of cards for gift giving or sending individually. Here they are!

 

This punked tag was created by Rhea Weigand with Steampunk Owl that she added a pine tree vignette with our retired Pine Bough stamp set along with some Frantage Essentials.

HappyHoppers® are on the Loose!

We are so blessed and grateful to be carrying the House-Mouse Designs® characters here at Stampendous. We opened our collection last Fall with the delightful mice for Halloween, Fall and Christmas. Then in our October Catalog we added the darling HappyHoppers® bunnies to the team, and these sweet rabbits have stolen our hearts! We added more of them to our line in the January Catalog, and this week our team is showing you their favorite creations with these wonderful creatures from the pen of Ellen Jareckie! So many of them are perfect for Mother’s Day, or Baby, or Father’s Day. We’re just so excited to have these options. In this stamp Hop-It reads a story to Bumble and Itty Bit! So sweet.

Happy National Scrapbook Week!

It’s National Scrapbook Week and we here at Stampendous love our scrapbookers! So many pages and so many opportunities to use fun stuff.
Using our Sticker Background Technique makes pages that really pop!  Here are a couple of new pages that we have using this technique.

The Peacock page is amazing.  We just did this as a Make and Take at Camp Croppin’ in Calgary and it was a huge hit.  What’s not to love about these colors?  And so fast to make – about 20 minutes to produce this dazzling page.

Why not try embossing a background for your page?  While we were Camp Croppin’, we also made this vibrant peacock card using the same Sticker Background Technique as the scrapbook page alone with embossing a background pattern.
