Cool Penguin! Hot Winners!

Cool Penguin Ugly Sweater Banner

Hello Everyone, we hope your Holidays were fantastic. We’ve been working hard to launch our new January Catalog (the biggest one of the year) and to get ready for the industry’s biggest trade show Creativation!

But we didn’t forget that we left our penguins in their ugly sweaters waiting on the edge of their icebergs to see who won the contest!

First, the poll for top sweater designer! We’re glad we made you vote, because we could never have chosen just one of these sweaters. The winner, with 25 of the 76 votes (whew) was clear – Diane Williams – Her Take 2 Ugly Sweaters was the champ (we suspect it was the reindeer sweater that did it) – Here’s her original blog post if you want to visit the winner –

Diane Williams

So, Diane, send us your wish list for $50 in Stampendous products (might want to check out the new catalog below or our website to make sure what you want is currently available). (email submissions@stampendous.com)

We also have three sets of Cool Penguin stamps and dies that will go to U.S. winners that commented on the various blogs from us and the participating designers. Here they are (also email to give us your mailing address!):

Donna Ellis (From Sue Drees #3)

Karen Ladd (From Tina Smith’s Video)

Bunny (From Diane Williams’ post)

And a quick reminder – we dug through a lot of profiles to verify our winners have a U.S. mailing address. Adding at least your country to your blogger/google+/facebook/instagram/flickr/youtube profile, and to your comments, etc., would greatly increase your chances of winning.

Thank you so much for commenting and playing with us. We had a great time. There are still plenty of Winter weeks left in “sweater weather”, and we have lots of Cool Penguins in stock. Of course, it’s never too early to plan your next Christmas card. If you haven’t had enough sweaters, we discovered that Karen Hasheck’s link in our last post was incorrect (although it was correct in the polling area). Go check hers out!

If you made it this far, check out the new January Catalog. You’ll be seeing a lot of it in the coming months. You can click on the picture to view as a flippy book on issuu.com, download as a pdf to your computer, or even print your own in color. You can order a hard copy for yourself on our website – HERE

Decor-ate to Your Heart’s Content!

6X6 Cling Rubber

Fran’s 6″ X 6″ Cling Rubber Stamps are just ideal for creating home decor in addition to cards and papercrafts. Along with our 8″ X 8″ Decor Cling Rubber, these stamps put a variety of creative backgrounds at your fingertips. And their acrylic handles make them easy to use with any media from paint to ink and beyond. We hope you’ll give them a try and share what you create with us. You can load your creations to our Facebook Group, or directly to our website! We love sharing your art.

The great thing about these images is how subtly they can add a bit of texture to a card. Look at this great sample by Kristine Reynolds. The yellow background card has been delicately enhanced through the use of our 6CR002 Crackle stamp! It’s really subtle, but adds so much to the worn feel of the card along with the embossing powder and natural mica on the edges.
