House-Mouse and Friends Blog Challenge Hop – Day 10

STM_HMFC215hop_banner4

Today is the last day of our Challenge Hop and a few more hours to add your sweet project into the HMFMCB InLinkz Tool. There were lots of hop stops for inspiration on how to add stenciling to your House-Mouse cards and projects. Need a little refresher? Our Youtube playlist for Dreamweaver Stencils is a handy place to stop by for many of the techniques the design teams used during the hop and as we mentioned yesterday you can stop by our Pinterest boards for ideas with House-Mouse Designs and Dreamweaver Stencils.

HOW TO ENTER:

  • Create something fun and a little bit wonderful. It’s not a talent show, winners are randomly selected. Use an HMD image plus a stencil on your work (or choose “anything goes”). It doesn’t have to be a card, it can be any kind of project. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
  • Post your creation online. You can post it anywhere that will give it a unique URL (internet address). Most folks have a blog, but you can post on Flickr, or PhotoBucket, or even on your Google+ account. (ps…creating a blog is free! What are you waiting for?)
  • Get the URL for the specific post that contains your project – click on the title of your post, copy the URL from your browser’s title bar, click on the inLinkz picture on the HMFMCB post, paste your URL into the tool. Add your name and email address and voila, you’re entered!

Stampendous and DecoArt Blog Hop Day 5

WEB_DecoArt_STM_Hop_03_016

Here we are on our last, and biggest hop day with international mixed media artist Andy Skinner and his wonderful Design Team at DecoArt. We hope you’ve been amazed and delighted at the inspiration we’ve shared with you. Andy’s stamps are just so exciting and fun to use, and we know you’ve loved seeing the range of the DecoArt Fluid Media line as well.

One reason we focused on the Media range for this blog hop, is that it’s the perfect acrylic paint to use when tinting your Dreamweaver Embossing Pastes! Just one drop of these pigment-rich media paints is enough to tint a generous quantity of paste for making your favorite backgrounds. Don’t be afraid to color your pastes to match your projects. Most Dreamweaver Embossing Pastes can be tinted very easily.  Here are some examples from our own Leadonna Fritts! You might just recognize some of these made into projects on her blog this week.

Now get hopping and be sure to leave a trail of comments on each of the designer blogs. Each comment gets you one entry for a great prize package (open to everyone) of all three of Andy Skinner’s newest stamps for Stampendous PLUS a Fluid Media Acrylic Starter Kit.
