Window Messages with Vicky Papaioannou!

Window Messages Banner

Today we’re sharing a wonderful stamp set that helps you make a really quick card or a much more involved project. It’s so versatile, it’s up to you! This is our darling Window Messages Perfectly Clear Stamps Set.

Stampendous Window Messages
Window Messages Perfectly Clear Stamps

These stamps are tons of fun, if a piece is too big or the wrong shape, just stamp it and clip away part of the image. They are easy to cut out because most of the design fits in the square part of the stamp. The handy zigzag makes a great border, or you could use it as a stem for the flowers as Deb Antonick did here on her mixed media journal. She also used our Funky Alphabet to complete this project.

We’re extra excited because the always talented Vicky Papaioannou shared a terrific card featuring this set on her YouTube channel this week.  We’d love to share it with you here!

You can find more details on the construction of this card on Vicky’s blog at

The Stampendous Design team has some inspiration to share with this great set as well.

New Pop Up Stages and Spring Tweets!

Our new Pop Up Die Set is setting the stage for some exciting pop ups in columns and platforms! Use Pop Up Stages with any type of stamped and die cut or hand trimmed shapes like images from Family Home, Pretty Poppies, and Spring Tweets stamp sets.

Pop Up Stages dies are so versatile as separate pieces you can use a single column die to make a flower bouquet pop off the background as on Debi Hammons beautiful card here.

Using two or more column dies will create varying depths for a fun scene. Add the tab die anywhere for a popping greeting!

House-Mouse and Friends Blog Challenge Hop – Day 7

One of the techniques that is the go-to technique with our design team is also an easy one that gives your project some sparkly accents that you will love. Check out this video to find out how to create with stencils and glitter.

Our hop with the current House-Mouse and Friends Monday Blog Challenge is quickly coming to an end, but there is still time to join in! Create a project and link it to the InLinkz Tool on the HMFMCB website as your entry for the challenge. For Instructions how to do this, see below.

Use ANY House-Mouse Designs® images or characters on your project, and any stencils and stenciling techniques that you like. There is never any purchase necessary to enter. And, of course, as always on the HMFMCB, “anything goes” is always an entry option.  Link your entry to the InLinkz Tool by the end of Friday, April 8, 2016 (11:59 pm in your own time zone).

House-Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge Blog (Monday blog)

  • Create something fun and a little bit wonderful. It’s not a talent show, winners are randomly selected. Use an HMD image plus a stencil on your work (or choose “anything goes”). It doesn’t have to be a card, it can be any kind of project. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
  • Post your creation online. You can post it anywhere that will give it a unique URL (internet address). Most folks have a blog, but you can post on Flickr, or PhotoBucket, or even on your Google+ account. (ps…creating a blog is free! What are you waiting for?)
  • Get the URL for the specific post that contains your project – click on the title of your post, copy the URL from your browser’s title bar, click on the inLinkz picture on the HMFMCB post, paste your URL into the tool. Add your name and email address and voila, you’re entered!

Enter your challenge project in the House-Mouse and Friends InLinkz tool here.

Anyway You Paste It

The first two days of our playing with paste week we’ve seen some awesome samples, tutorials, tips and techniques. It’s already Wednesday and there is plenty more inspiration coming our way. Today we have Lynell Harlow back with us in a video tutorial and our designer’s posting their playing with paste projects.

Find out how Lynell uses the Plaid stencil for an easy and colorful background. She also has a few tips about glossy and matte embossing pastes. Enjoy the video and check out the supply list for all the great products.
