Join us for a marvelous way to encourage kids this Valentine’s Day or any day when they are most in need! We are proud to sponsor the Send a Smile 4 Kids Challenge Blog and we would love to see these kids showered in love by handmade cards.
Send a Smile 4 Kids is a volunteer organization made up of folks at children’s hospitals who collect handmade cards and distribute them to the children. Every kid stuck in a hospital bed could use a smile, right?
The current challenge is Valentines/Love Cards 4 Kids. You can find out more here to enter the challenge and donate cards as well as upcoming themes on their blog sidebar.
For inspiration for the Valentine theme, stop by our website and look through our project gallery for children style ideas with our stamps and stencils, then create a card or send in some you already have made.
Our design team will be sharing cards they make for the challenge in the days to come, and we’ll be back with an update with their creations!
Nativity scene, angels and wise men, oh MY! We are wrapping up our week of inspiration with visions of the Christmas story through our newest stencils and stamps, plus we have more from our design team.
Celerate the tiny babe’s story with distant travellers in the Wise Men stencil that helps you create layers on your stenciling project or the season’s iconic nativity scene. Louise Healy made a fabulous card with the Wise Men stencil that we’ve linked below in the Monday hop list. Stop by and see it if you haven’t yet.
And more images that remind us of the season with our cozy country church scene and angel stencils, too.
There are just a couple more stamps that we’ve saved to go along with our stencils. We just love how they all work together for a wonderful season of celebration. It’s only days away now!
Thank you for stopping in and looking through our designers projects these week, they enjoy your visits and comments that you leave!
Another month has gone by and the Creative Squad has provided fantastic weekly inspiration on Nathalie’s Studio Blog. You can stop by each week’s post by hopping over to them from the gallery below and find out which of Nathalie’s terrific products they used for their creative expressions.
Nathalie’s line of stamps and stencils work fabulously for so many different styles, seasons and projects it is no wonder that we enjoy the Squad’s projects with renewed inspiration every month! Here is a gallery of Nathalie’s Stampendous products over on our website but you can also shop at Nathalie’s store while you’re over on her blog for this months posts.
Nathalie challenged the team this month to think about starting new things and how they experience its beginnings. Enjoy and be inspired!
It’s Friday and our relaxed week of mixed media is almost over, but we have one more bit of goodies to share. The terrific mixed media artist and designer, Andy Skinner, is the spotlight of our post today and there is a chance to see him create with his trademark techniques using his line of stamps and stencils with DecoArt Media products. It’s amazing what you can do with this product combination when you have a few techniques up your sleeve.
His style is a solid industrial style with even shabby chic mixed in on a few projects. No matter the style it’s in the techniques you use with your supplies and we have a way for you to see Andy in demo them in action, but only for a short time.
Even though we are in the States we followed along Hochanda TV, a UK Television home shopping channel, during Andy Skinner’s shows on Tuesday here and Wednesday here, here, here and here. These links won’t be available for long so stop by soon to see all the techniques that continue to make Andy’s mixed media pieces amazing, awesome, and SO cool!
All these fantastic projects were made with Andy Skinner stamps which are daring and iconic, just perfect for any mixed media or stamping project. You can see Andy using them our videos from our booth during CHA the last few years. Stop by our Youtube Channel anytime to see them!
It’s the end of the month and a great time to revisit the Creative Squad projects Nathalie’s Studio Blog. This group of talented designers created fun art journaling pages using Nathalie’s stamps and stencil designs. For convenience, we’ve listed Nathalie’s Stampendous products here but you can also stop by Nathalie’s store for her products, too.
The Creative Squad was given the challenge to create something that celebrates the spirit of adventure and it was fun to see where their creative spirit took them for each project. We’ve grabbed the links to all of the “Say Yes! to New Adventures” posts so you can browse with ease. Enjoy and be inspired!
We are adding painting to our Stencil Thursday post because well, we are still having a great time at the Heart of Ohio Tole painting convention. With all of our wonderful stencil we have from Dreamweaver Stencils and Fran’s metal stencils there are plenty to add accents to your painted projects.
Stencils can add wonderful texture in any of your painted decor pieces like Debbie Cole’s Steam Pumpkin Frame shown above. The gears in the background create a fabulous depth and mat the floating painted Steam Pumpkin image amazingly!
Debbie used the Large Scale stencil to create a quick and beautiful shingled roof for those delightful Winter Tweets birds.
There is still more to see today, stop by these designer’s blog for inspiration.
We are still at the Heart of Ohio Tole painting convention. Each year Decorative Painters, Manufacturers, Designers and Crafters meet in Ohio for a terrific event full of classes, shopping, and painting demonstrations.
If you find yourself near Columbus, Ohio August 8-13, do stop in and see us. Stampendous will be there with our latest products for Holiday 2016. Plus, we’ll have some special images celebrating this year’s theme – If you give a Mouse a Paintbrush… What could be more up our alley??!!
Every month the Creative Squad on Nathalie’s Studio Blog take a challenge and create the most amazing journal pages and projects with Nathalie’s stamps and stencil designs.
For July each designer created with the prompt, “Letter to my Future Self” and they came up with some pretty powerful pieces. So wonderful we’ve gathered up the links here so you can grab a cuppa and enjoy the mixed media goodness.
