It’s Friday and our relaxed week of mixed media is almost over, but we have one more bit of goodies to share. The terrific mixed media artist and designer, Andy Skinner, is the spotlight of our post today and there is a chance to see him create with his trademark techniques using his line of stamps and stencils with DecoArt Media products. It’s amazing what you can do with this product combination when you have a few techniques up your sleeve.
His style is a solid industrial style with even shabby chic mixed in on a few projects. No matter the style it’s in the techniques you use with your supplies and we have a way for you to see Andy in demo them in action, but only for a short time.

We heard from Vicky Papaionnou, remember earlier this month we shared her Inspired by the Sea journal page, and she is journaling with Nathalie Kalbach’s Urban Scribble Foam Stamp, Cling Rubber and Stencil Set this time. WOW, are we delighted she let us know. You can see more details over on the Simon Says Stamp blog, here as well as the video we’ve linked up below.
Urban Scribbles is more than just a stamp set, it is a mixed media stamp and stencil set. It includes a detail cling rubber stamp, and a two-sided foam stamp with a silhouette stamp side and a block cut style stamp on the other side, plus a fun stencil design. It’s a complete designing tool for your mixed media, canvas and papercrafting projects. Check Simon Says Stamp as well as other online stores and local stores for this terrific stamp and stencil set.
Every month the Creative Squad on Nathalie’s Studio Blog take a challenge and create the most amazing journal pages and projects with Nathalie’s stamps and stencil designs.
For July each designer created with the prompt, “Letter to my Future Self” and they came up with some pretty powerful pieces. So wonderful we’ve gathered up the links here so you can grab a cuppa and enjoy the mixed media goodness.
