Au Revoir, Paris!

Paris Bonjour Banner

It’s time to say au revoir to our Paris Bonjour set! But it’s certainly not adieu! You’ll see a lot more of this great set in the future, and we are adding new projects to our website all the time! Just visit http://www.stampendous.com and search Paris up at the top to watch as they get uploaded! Today we want to show you our fabulous 6″ X 6″ Paris Map Cling Rubber StampThis awesome background is great for all your travel memories, it’s a wonderful map of Paris, completely hand-drawn by Fran herself.  She was inspired to do this by a trip she took to Paris last Summer. They walked 29K steps all over this magical city!

Here are some of the samples Fran made with the Paris Bonjour Set and the Paris Map. You can click on them to see them larger, and we will work on putting them up on the website as well. Notice where she has used the free fleur de lis stencil that comes with the stamp set (the small ones), and where she has used the large fleur de lis die cut that comes in the cutting dies set.  Remember, we’ll give away three sets to lucky winners, with U.S. Addresses, who comment!!!

Take a quick look at this wonderful set along with Fran in her newest YouTube video:

There is more inspiration available from our Design Team! Be sure to stop by their blogs and wish them bon voyage as their dreams take flight for Paris!!

We Love Laurel Burch

Colorful Laurel Burch Banner

Laurel Burch was all about love. She wanted to share the love that is the core connection between all living things, and her art clearly demonstrates this. You can learn lots more about Laurel and her journey at www.laurelburchstudios.com

Our newest designs for January from Laurel Burch are all about love as well, and birthday and friendship! But one of our very favorite sets from this release has been the new Laurel Burch Icons Perfectly Clear Stamp Set. This set of little doodles that Laurel included in most of her art provide a great opportunity to make backgrounds and borders with a Laurel Burch flair. They’re ideal embossed in gold or used with your monoprinting plate or other techniques. Here’s the set:

Colorful Laurel Burch

We are so privileged to be the licensee for artist Laurel Burch’s wonderful artwork in the realm of rubber stamps! Her work is so colorful and bright and full of life and fun. We are always delighted to see what folks share with these stamps. If you share anything, please do let us know by dropping us an email at submissions@stampendous.com with a link to your work. Or you can always join our Stampendous Facebook Group and post your wonderful projects there. We have a Pinterest Board just for Laurel Burch Creations, and we share them on Instagram as well. We’d also love to suggest that you visit laurelburchstudios.com, since the work of this fabulous artist is available on so many other products including tote bags, jewelry, and so much more!

Our January catalog introduced some great, new Laurel Burch stamp images to our line, as well. We’re going to share them this week, along with some great inspiration from our design team! We hope you’ll leap in and leave some love for our newest products and our team’s efforts!

You can see, right away, that both of these sets lend themselves to a very mixed media approach to Laurel Burch. While maintaining the brilliant color palette, the dies let you cut shapes from paste papers, background papers, old photos,  and so much more! Adding the stamp over the top defines the images and creates the look. They’re so fun! Here are some of the projects we’ve created with them, always using our colors in proportion to the Laurel Burch Coloring Guide we developed. All of these samples were created by Fran Seiford for our January Catalog.

Some of our Design Team have projects to share with you today! And there will be more on Wednesday!! Come on Back. But first, stop by and give our team some love!

Text Your Mom! or Texture, Mom!

Texture Cubes Banner

Even your mom will find our terrific texture cubes easy to use. And she’d love one as a gift! They’re the most versatile stamps she’ll ever own, and they’re just bursting with possibilities.

We have more texture for you today, our friend Andy Skinner has designed two new stamp sets for us that are just amazing for adding texture to your projects.

The first one, Fossils, has so many wonderful patterns and potential completely aside from the great images themselves. Each image can add a ton of texture when applied to a background in a subtle color. You will adore these.

Texture is Here to Stay!

Texture Cubes Banner

Our terrific Texture Cubes have been a long tradition here at Stampendous. We’re so excited to be adding two new texture cubes to the current selection.

  • Each cube has four sides (the Marble has 3) that can be tiled and extended to cover a large area with dynamic background.
  • They feel great in your hands as you work
  • They give you lots of options for adding texture and depth to your work.
  • And they’re super easy to clean, so use them with paint, ink, anything you like!

Here’s a look at all of our cubes!

Look how cool the marble looks! You stamp the darkest one in the lightest color, then proceed to the medium one in a lighter color, then the veins are dynamic and awesome in gold, black, or many other colors!

The latest additions to our Pink Your Life Collection by Nicoletta Zanella are just the most adorable Christmas stamps! We love how cute the sets with coordinating dies are! Finally a great way to make scenes and pop ups so easy with these sweet images!

We’re going to share again with these images in November, but we wanted to showcase them because the Pink Your Life team has done some really fun videos with them. We hope you’ll take a few minutes to check them out! These whimsical characters are so fun to color, and they lend themselves to some pretty creative techniques.

Take a look:
