It’s a great day at the beach as we continue our shore theme with Seaside Chair Perfectly Clear Stamp Set. This set include chair, umbrella, drinks and beach surroundings for a great beach scene. It also includes lots of expressive sentiments to finish off your project.
If one seaside chair isn’t enough we have you covered with different angles in our Single and Pair Adirondack stamps. All three of these stamp options will have you creating a relaxing card or scrapbook page by the seaside or in your backyard.
Here’s Single Adirondack Stamp, that has all the relaxation built right in to the image. It’s a sign to sit back with a cool summer drink on a hot summer day.
Debbie Cole, artist consultant and decorative painter designed this amazing wire basket with a reverse image of Single Adirondack and the complementing Adirondack Pair Stamp. This is an amazing art piece and captures that seaside relaxation so well. Click on this project to find out how Debbie put this project together.
The complement to Single Adirondack is this pair of chairs aptly named, Adirondack Pair Stamp. Just in case you want to scrapbook or put on a card that special getaway with someone special, we have two open seats reserved on the beach ready to color and texture with a beachy twist.
Jennie Lin Black has our toes feeling the sand beneath these chairs with an amazing coloring of Adirondack Pair. Love how bright and beach life it looks! She added Relax Enjoy stamp to make sure we did just that. That’s a nice scene, isn’t it. There is a project page just for this card and you can access it one easy click on the image or caption below.
We hope you enjoyed the seating arrangements of stamp focus and now our design team is keeping the inspiration waves moving along. Let’s see what’s splashed over on these designers blog today!
This is a day of petal-ing some beautiful stamps to enjoy before the main show of great projects from our design team and that is the focus of our week indeed. One of the prettiest petal shapes to color could possibly be from a peony flower. They unfold in such a noble way as if to make a graceful curtsy from each petal drawing attention to its blossom. It’s no wonder that we’ve seen glimpses of this flower already this week in the Bouquet For You Perfectly Clear Stamp Set from yesterday’s post.
Our Peony Spray Stamp is a companion stamp to the Pansy Stamp mentioned in our Monday post. These stamps are great to make an A2 size card in a jiffy, just stamp on the card base and color or pop it up on another layer with a coordinating paper mat. Summer brings out a few snapshots of flowers when when capturing memories for a scrapbook and these stamps would do well as part of a photo collage layout.
Look at this stunning card with gorgeous depth to the hinting petal design of the stamp. The Heart of Friendship stamp is snuggled by two stamps of the Peony Spray and an extra one for a few more leaves.
A precious petal stamp is up next with Fairy Flower who resembles a few petals alike to our peony stamp. She’s taking a little rest and relaxation in the garden with a few blooms nearby to enjoy.
Here is another beautifully colored sample by Jennie Lin Black showcasing those petals framing that sweet pixie face. The Timeless Fairytale sentiment sums up our post beautifully, we are never too old for a fairytale.
Here are some more projects from the some of the design team today!
We are getting into the rhythm of being on this wild adventure of spotting our PenPattern animals in the world “wild” web. Each stamp comes in wood mount or cling rubber mount to meet the needs of our valuable customers.
Our PenPattern Zebra may seem like all the doodles have naturally been done, but there is still a coat of many colors to be added and even a chance to doodle in color between those stripes! The choice is up to you to decide, liven up a birthday card, or scrapbook page with a realistic zebra or one in magical rainbow technicolor.
This wild birthday card is showing our PenPattern Zebra in it’s natural beauty just slightly colored for effect, because colorist and class instructor Jennie Lin Black who created this sweet card, definitely knows just the right amount of color to add to an image. I guess this time her advice would be less is more!
There is one more four-legged wild animal to see on our adventure today, it is PenPattern Lion surveying his pride and maybe waiting for a few majestic doodle lines to be added to his mane. You can imagine him as well in all sorted kinds of tangles and doodles, colors and patterns that will create such a great card with some of our Wild Saying Perfectly Clear Stamps for the voice behind the lion.
Designer Pam Hornschu posted her PenPattern Lion card on Monday and we just think it’s the cat’s meow of cards of our lion, so we are showing it off here on our blog as well. Just look at those special freckle doodles all over, it’s really a brilliant doodle idea! She also mixed in some Dreamweaver I-Beam stencil and Monstera Leaf die to make this card quite fantastic.
Here is the line up of projects from our safari design crew today, We know you are going to love them!
This week we are embarking on a journey to see the wonderful wild animals that are new to the Stampendous PenPattern collection. You might just want to grab your safari gear, because it is going to be a week of adventure and wonder!
Our first stop is to see this wading hippopotamus that is a great image to doodle in the open spaces or color him in a fun and interesting way.
Our posing frog is all eyes for a few doodles, even the lily pad is a perfect open space for doodles to take float. Enjoy a frog in many different colors and styles with a combination of color and doodles. Now who can resist that face?
One particular colorist, Jennie Lin Black, couldn’t resist and made a gorgeous monoprint paper to tame the vibrant markings of this exotic colored frog. She even added some texture with a combination of Frantage Color Fragments.
Jennie used a great sentiment for her card that is part of our Wild Sayings Perfectly Clear Stamps Set. It is a great companion to all of our wild animals this week with 16 different sentiments, some for a great chuckle to go along with your doodled wild animal, plus you can never be without a clawed paw print for added emphasis to your card.
Are you ready for a wild tour across landscape of our designer’s blog this week? Let’s head on our adventurous safari tour with these talented guides today!
There are a few menu items that are a sure thing at any picnic and watermelon is one of them, at least the gatherings I’ve attended seem to have a melons as an option, so it’s fitting that our picnic week include this juicy and ripe treat.
Taking a slice out of life and literally from the melon, these mice really know how to picnic. Just look at the grins on the faces of Maxwell, Amanda, and Monica, they sure look pleased with their choice. Of course, Mudpie is being his mischievous self and spitting the seeds before his next bite.
Here’s a card from one of our in-house designers that looks just delicious! The coloring on the watermelon is divine and all those sweet full belly mice can be colored up quickly for this simple and easy card design! Send out a bunch of these in no time with just a few steps. Color Watermelon Mice with your favorite tools, add a mat around the image and onto the card base with a simple twine and button combination.
It seems these mice are driven to food quite often around here and you can find all those foodie stamps on our website in the House-Mouse page. Stamps like Share a Sip, Grape Snack and Carrot Friend all go together well for a fun set of these quick cards.
There is always a place to share your House-Mouse creations and you might even be a lucky prize winner if you share them at House-Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge blog! The current challenge is Summer Fun and we think Watermelon Mice fits in just right with that challenge don’t you?
