We’re playing with Andy Skinner and DecoArt this week! Did you know that Andy Skinner has started a Facebook Group? “Groups” on Facebook are a great way to communicate directly with artists and companies as well as share your projects you make with their products. On a “Page” you can see what the company is sharing and what their focus is for that day. But in a group you can share with other fans and the focus is on you and your interaction with the company or artist. If you’re a Facebook Member you may want to check out these groups and pages, be sure to click on the links when you’re logged in to Facebook:

Stampendous and DecoArt Blog Hop Day 1

We’re super excited this week to play with our friends at DecoArt. Mixed Media Artist and DecoArt International Education Coordinator Andy Skinner has designed some fantastic stamps for Stampendous, and we’re going to be showing them off all week long.

Andy will join us along with his team of international mixed media artists including Julia Stratford-Wright, Mark Gould, Mel Hookham, and Jools Robertson. Plus there will be posts this week on the DecoArt blog as well. Naturally the Stampendous Design Team will be checking in as well.

It’s National Craft Month!

It’s all crafts all month! National Craft Month is here! We hope that you’ll take the opportunity this March to start a new craft, or finish up some old ones, or maybe even introduce a friend or loved one to a craft you enjoy!

Our own Fran Seiford had tons of fun recently crafting with her Mushroom Home and Cottage Home stamp and die sets! These little creations look so darling when you add them to your gardenscape for a party or event. Wild Wild Wednesday

We are getting into the rhythm of being on this wild adventure of spotting our PenPattern animals in the world “wild” web. Each stamp comes in wood mount or cling rubber mount to meet the needs of our valuable customers.

We’ve seen the wading hippo, and eye catching frog on Monday. Tuesday we spotted the posing giraffe and a lucky elephant that made our crafty fingers itch to use some of our vibrant colors. You will want to check out those posts if you missed them, because there are some amazing samples and a video too!

Our PenPattern Zebra may seem like all the doodles have naturally been done, but there is still a coat of many colors to be added and even a chance to doodle in color between those stripes! The choice is up to you to decide, liven up a birthday card, or scrapbook page with a realistic zebra or one in magical rainbow technicolor.

This wild birthday card is showing our PenPattern Zebra in it’s natural beauty just slightly colored for effect, because colorist and class instructor Jennie Lin Black who created this sweet card, definitely knows just the right amount of color to add to an image. I guess this time her advice would be less is more!

There is one more four-legged wild animal to see on our adventure today, it is PenPattern Lion surveying his pride and maybe waiting for a few majestic doodle lines to be added to his mane.  You can imagine him as well in all sorted kinds of tangles and doodles, colors and patterns that will create such a great card with some of our Wild Saying Perfectly Clear Stamps for the voice behind the lion.

Designer Pam Hornschu posted her PenPattern Lion card on Monday and we just think it’s the cat’s meow of cards of our lion, so we are showing it off here on our blog as well. Just look at those special freckle doodles all over, it’s really a brilliant doodle idea! She also mixed in some Dreamweaver I-Beam stencil and Monstera Leaf die to make this card quite fantastic.

Perfectly Wet Pets Friday

All well-behaved pets form a line at the pet wash! Oh how we love the character of each stamp in our House-Mouse Designs® collection of stamps. Today we have a very willing participant in a pet wash which could be more willing to wash away the remains of a polecat caught off guard.

Monica, Amanda, Mudpie and Maxwell are such good friends to help in the effort and even a dog treat to calm the puppies nerves.

Out on a Stroll with our Perfect Pets

Today we’re looking into our perfect pets and a special activity of their day.  These House-Mouse pets set the bar pretty high as they calmly walk along.

Monica is taking her reptile pets out for a little bit of exercise and just the right pair of reptiles to walk at the same time. So well behaved, are they really that good or is Monica a reptile walking guru? In either case, this is such an adorable image and a great image to put on a card to send to our veterinarians who help keep our own pets happy and healthy. What project idea would you use with Reptile Walk.

Perfect Pets with Stampendous

This week while we are hopping with Faber-Castell HERE, it’s still a great time for a new theme week! Our focus is on all the perfect pets that sometimes are more rare a pet than usual or if they are known we sure do hope they would mind their manners as well as our perfect pet stamps do. Our designer’s that are hopping with their perfect pets might also have Faber – Castell products in use, because we just had to use them whenever we could, so it’s possible you will see them linked up in multiple posts!

Ellen Jareckie, illustrator and designer of House-Mouse Designs®, is bringing out the good manners in our pets this week with this adorable Vet Visit Stamp.  I have not seen amphibians at our local veterinarian’s office yet, but I bet they would be less mannered than Amanda’s froggy friend.
