Brush Up Your Sentiments

We always love having new word stamps! They can really brighten and change up a card even if you’re using a well-loved flower or background, and these new sentiments can really take the card to the next level! They have big open spaces that allow for doodling, coloring, painting, stenciling, paper piecing, and so much more! We know you’re going to love our new Great Big Greetings!! They’re available wood mounted or on Stampendous Cling Rubber!

Swirls and Flourishes

The flourish is a polishing step in design. It’s a detail, neat and pretty that shows you’ve taken that extra time to make your project special.

Did you know we have swirls and flourish stamps throughout our January 2015 Catalog? You can find them in the Cling Rubber Sets like Spring Bouquet, Moray Dahlia and the pot of gold in Cling Filigree?

Krissy Fossmeyer took the time to add the flourish border in Moray Dahlia for a ribbon accent here on her Thank You card.

Swirls and flourishes work great for finishing up those scrapbook pages, too! Here’s a scrapbook page from alumni Cindy Bundy’s project bin that uses the swirl border from Spring Bouquet.

Another Card from Stephanie Lee!

“I am so excited to be a part of the Blog Star team, I can’t wait to share with you the fun stuff I made with stuff from Stampendous! Seriously fun stuff like fun flock, embossing enamel, mica flakes and of course stamps too – I actually thought of making a card with just flock! Nah – it didn’t quite work – it just looked like my hamster got out of his cage! I did glitter up some alphabets that I’ll add to some layouts in future posts, and I DO LOVE the embossing enamel, which I used on this card.”  – Stephanie Lee

Cards for Heroes Update

Hope you had a happy and safe 4th of July! Most of us here at Stampendous had BBQs with our families and watched the fireworks to celebrate our independence! We wouldn’t be able to do so without the help of our heroes, the soldiers. Now that July 4 has passed, we have ended the Cards for Heroes card drive, but if you forgot about our deadline and wish to participate, you can send your cards directly to Cards for Heroes. Get more info by clicking here.

We would like to thank everyone who participated! We got some really great cards! Here’s a photo of some of our favorites:

cards4herosAnd a big thank you to Nancy S., Piali B., L.G. and the others that chose to be anonymous. We know that your cards are going to create a lot of smiles!

Celebrate Flag Day!

We would like to celebrate Flag Day, which is on June 14th and commemorates the adoption of the US flag, by sharing this cute Biker Bee card and its recipe. And on the topic of being patriotic, we hope you remember to send us your “Cards for Heros“. Up until July 4th, 2009, we will be collecting any birthday cards you send us so that soldiers serving overseas may have birthday greetings to send back home to husbands, wives, kids, mothers, fathers, friends and other loved ones. And we will share our very favorites on this blog! Mail any cards you’d like to donate to:
