Homemade Gifts Are Best

The holiday season is approaching, and it’s time to give some thought to gifts you might make for friends and loved ones. Of course nothing says, “I love you” like a handmade gift.

With stamps and stencils, you have soooo many options. And our new Decor Cling Rubber Stamps make a super easy way to transfer a pattern to a home decor piece. They are big, at 8″ X 8″ they can help you get a job done quickly, or even work on a very small card or tag, or stamp a few at one time.

Here’s a look at the Decor Snowflakes stamp. There are four other designs available.

Our Dreamweaver and Fran’s Metal Stencils are also a phenomenal way to create homemade gifts from the heart.  Like this gorgeous canvas from Mixed Media Artist Mark Gould.

Wendy Price created a gorgeous bangle using the Tropical Garden Jumbo Cling rubber stamp.
Lea Kimmel made this adorable frame using the Ranunculus Field stamp.
And Pam Hornschu created a darling gift card holder using the Party Hat Kiddo and a sentiment from the Perfectly Clear Birthday Assortment.

Be sure to check out what a few of our Design Team members have created for the challenge today!

Even More Gift Ideas…

Last week many of you came up with some really creative gift ideas for the Sketch Challenge. And we also wrote a blog post featuring presents made by our design team. This week we’d like to show you a few great gifts that would be perfect for your fellow stamp loving friends or even your family, co-workers and neighbors! They don’t have to be stampers to enjoy a cuddly Fluffles the cat sweater or a cheery Changito the monkey mug! Many of our fans have asked for cool merch with their favorite Stampendous characters on them… and here they are, now available at Cafe Press!

This mug is made for the office! Don't you think?!

We admit, sometimes knit happens! And with this bag you can transport your needles and yarn to make knit happen anywhere!

A frighteningly cute onsie for your little monkey!

We don't have a clever caption for this one. We just thought it was cute!

Wouldn't you rather kiss the cook if they were wearing this snazzy apron?

And if you have any suggestions for Stampendous merchandise you’d like to see in the future, let us know in the comments below!

Flock & Father’s Day

As we prepare to honor our fathers this weekend, we’ve been on the look out for some fun Father’s Day projects on our favorite blogs. Kimberly Crawford has posted some fabulous gifts for our favorite guy on her blog, we know you’ll love these. But upon surfing Kimberly’s blog we discovered that she’s done a tutorial for one of our favorite products, too! We love using our Fuzzy Flock™ with a glue pen, our Class A’Peel™ stickers, or more recently on Thermo Web’s Peel ‘N Stick, but Kimberly has managed to make a success of it with Tsukineko’s Glue Pad. A feat we’ve yet to master. Be sure and check out her tutorial for instructions.

Speaking of Fuzzy Flock, if you’d like a hands on experience with this terrific product and you’re in the Florida area this summer, you might want to find yourself at the Craft and Hobby Association’s first ever Craft SuperShow for consumers. Stampendous will be offering a class for consumers at this show on Friday, July 31. We’d love to see you there! You can get lots more detail about the events at this show here:
