It is time for more wintry projects with a Christmas twist are on our blog today, we have more inspiration to share from our Stampendous designers so pull up a chair and enjoy these Winter Friends in all sorts of cards and projects.
Our design team is playing along with friendly winter projects over on their blogs and we have more ideas from earlier this week!
A few feathered friends have a glittery and shimmery home in our featured projects for today’s post. Shaved Ice on Dreamweaver Regular Paste is a great festive addition to this Winter Tweet Birdhouse created by Decorative Artist and instructor Debbie Cole.
All you need is a sticky base and elements that catch the light in a room to add glitz to your projects. Here is a beautiful burst of shimmer and glitter from Spoonful of Silver and Spoonful of Snow used on a Sticky Panels sheet for a home base to Fran’s festive bluebird card.
Stop by the projects earlier this week from our design team for ideas and inspiration with our tweet set of products. We’ll see you tomorrow with more inspiration to our Winter Tweets week.
Our new Perfectly Clear Stamps™ Bible Journal and Bible Promises are perfect for working in the new Journaling Bibles that are available.
You can find lots of journaling bibles online, including on Amazon.com, but they’re a bit of an investment, so we decided to practice by making one of our own.
We downloaded the whole King James Bible as a .txt file from this website – Free Bible Download
Then we formatted just the first 130 chapters of the Book of Psalms. We thought you might like to practice along with us.
You can download our formatted pages here. They are designed to print on 8-1/2″ X 11″ paper and the dark lines are intended as cutlines so that you’ll end up with standard 6″ X 9″ journaling bible pages with 2″ margins on the sides for journaling. Psalms.pdf
Fran has made a terrific video showing some fun techniques for working with stamps and inks in your Bible:
And our Design Team had some fun playing with these stamps in our October Catalog:
The October catalog brings a little bit of early spring inspiration with butterflies and flowers in all sorts of styles. As you can see our Butterfly Wings Background is a graphical design that is great all by itself as Fran’s card above shows so well and can be joined with so many other stamps in our catalog.
As for the florals offered in this release, we have a pretty cute admirer for the lilacs in this House-Mouse Designs card by Kristine Reynolds. There are oodles of squeak worthy stamp images for spring House-Mouse and they are easy to browse through over on our website right now in the New House-Mouse Designs section!
Now that we’ve started the inspiration it’s time to keep the momentum going with our designer favorites being shared today! Enjoy!
We have a second stacking stamp set to share that is just as fun to play with as our Woodsy Stack. It may be difficult to decide which one is more fun to stack and maybe a few samples shared will help you understand why.
This fun set comes with 9 image stamps to make many different snowman winter scenes like the card Fran made with the Skier and snowflakes (above), but also a two-stamp sentiment that works well for combining into one or creating an outside and inside sentiment on a the card.
It has been a great week of stacking together good projects don’t you think? Well we have more! Stop by our designer’s blog posts today and those from earlier this week if you haven’t already, for some inspiration with our Stack Clear Stamps Sets.
We are beginning a pile of fun for the week as the weather is changing so must our characters in Woodsy Stack Perfectly Clear Stamp Set! You’ll see inspiration throughout the week from the design team here on our blog as well as a few stacked up creations on their personal blogs. It’s going to be a heap of creativity this week with oodles of character combinations!
These woodsy creatures are adding layers to keep warm and cute in any combination. Take a look out our video with Woodsy Stack in action!
Just think of the possibilities for your holiday paper crafting, gift giving, and scrapbook pages.
Fran’s adorable card shown above would be great for a couple who loves to cook or bake together and how about a delightful way to say thank you to the school’s cafeteria staff!
This charming set includes an apron, chef hat and bowl to create a variety of merry bakers, and one more die that really adds the finishing touch to the gingerbread die cut is the bow die. Take a look at this merry gingerbread pair with a hair bow and bow tie, what a sweet couple!
Now that you have seen a couple of great ideas here, get ready for some designer projects to get your mojo baking with ideas!
