Are you ready to create a little Christmas this week? We are!
One of the loved traditions of Christmas season is finding the perfect evergreen tree and decorate it with treasured ornaments and accessories. Now we can create a grove of fun Christmas trees in assorted styles and decorations with two new products from our July 2015 catalog.
Cling Create Christmas Stamp Set includes a shapely tree and adornment stamps to make a jolly holiday tree project of your very own. This set also includes a free stencil for easy coloring and masking on your projects and we’ll show you how to use it all this week.
Stamp and decorate the tree in one layer or easily add dimension with the coordinating Create Christmas Die Set. The possibilities are endless with this set of 12 dies that cut all the stamp set images in Create Christmas even dies to cut the tree into layers for new heights. Add oodles of gifts around your tree with the two rectangle and bow dies.
Decorate this tree quickly by stamping on pattern paper as shown in this festive card by Fran Seiford. Add a few wrapped presents in no time using only dies and more pattern paper, then all that is left is Christmas wish sentiment put together with the Holiday Words Perfectly Clear Stamps Set.
With so many ways to trim a tree with this stamp and die combination our design team have some great Christmas projects to share! Let’s see what they have today!
Were you able to catch the livestream event Stampendous did with Charity Wings this afternoon? Hopefully it will be up on Charity Wings YouTube channel soon so you can see it if you missed it.
They filmed and interviewed our very own Fran Seiford from the SPC Mixed Media Show today, and Fran had an opportunity to share her Melt Media Technique with Elena.
This terrific technique uses embossing powders as an art medium, not just for stamping, any more. With an electric griddle as a steady heat source, Fran uses the vast array of Stampendous embossing powders to make incredible pieces of art. She uses the powders to paint some incredible scenes on chipboard “tiles” then adheres them to mixed media canvases.
These incredible creations and lots more can be seen in the Tips and Techniques section of our website. You’ll also find complete directions there for this amazing look. We’ll also be linking the videos soon. It’s really exciting! We can’t wait to see if you try something similar! Do share what you make with us on our Facebook Page or Flickr Group!
Happy Wednesday, everyone! Today we’re taking a quick look at our Cling Create A Poinsettia stamp to design terrific layouts for the holidays! This week is turning out some fantastic projects with this pointed leaf and we wouldn’t want to forget our scrapbooking peeps who love to use their Stampendous stamps on layouts.
This layouts is very festive and quick with large amounts of journal space.
Welcome back to another day of pretty poinsettias! We had a chance to see in video we posted yesterday all the possibilities using Create A Poinsettia Cling Stamp and Die Cut Set, but did you spot Fran’s great idea for keeping track of the parts of the free template included in the stamp package? How about her tip for lining up the dies onto the image for cutting quickly and efficiently every time? If not, stop by Monday’s blog post and see the video.
Today is a sneak peek at the products themselves before a little project treat or two as well. This gorgeous poinsettia flower arrangement is accompanied by a vintage style greeting for a great card or scrapbook page and yes holiday ornaments, too!
The coordinating die cut set will help layer the poinsettia flower into four sections, but really you can stamp and layer until it looks just they way you want. Just stamp out a few extra flowers from to create a beautiful three-dimensional effect with it.
One of the possibilities Fran shared in the video is to use thin chipboard cut with the dies to add stability to each flower layer and then add a jump rings to attach beads and a hook or loop for a pretty ornament. Here’s her finished sample she started in the video and it turned out beautiful!
Thank you for stopping by today and be sure to hop on over and see the wonderful project from our designer today —
