The holiday season is approaching, and it’s time to give some thought to gifts you might make for friends and loved ones. Of course nothing says, “I love you” like a handmade gift.
With stamps and stencils, you have soooo many options. And our new Decor Cling Rubber Stamps make a super easy way to transfer a pattern to a home decor piece. They are big, at 8″ X 8″ they can help you get a job done quickly, or even work on a very small card or tag, or stamp a few at one time.
Here’s a look at the Decor Snowflakes stamp. There are four other designs available.
Our Dreamweaver and Fran’s Metal Stencils are also a phenomenal way to create homemade gifts from the heart. Like this gorgeous canvas from Mixed Media Artist Mark Gould.
A few great designers are sharing some fun ideas to get you started:
This week we’re getting ready for Christmas! Actually here at Stampendous my office is already decorated for Christmas since it segues directly from Halloween. Are you getting ready to get out the holly? The friends from House-Mouse Designs® decorate early, too. They know Santa is watching, and this year they’re hoping for cheese! (maybe a nice Porter Cahill…or some Camembert…mmm)
Our team is busy with our Blog Hops, but we’ve been ready for Christmas since the July Catalog. That’s the nature of the crafts industry! So we’re sharing in the afternoons some projects they made for our catalog. If you click on the photo it will take you to the Project section of our website where you can find the supplies and instructions for each project.
A gingerbread house is such a traditional Christmas activity. Do you make one? There are so many easy kits available. Amanda and Mudpie love making these fun creations. Notice that Amanda is standing firmly atop her brother…probably to keep him from eating the decorations! (notice the differences in how these images are colored, the two MASTERS of coloring with Copic markers are showing their stuff here!)
Be sure to come back and visit us tomorrow after your Spellbinders Hopping! We’ll share more “getting ready” creations to help you be ready when Christmas comes!
For years we’ve been huge fans of Spellbinders’ Nestabilities Dies. They let us make amazing cards and projects with loads of layers without loads of work! Now we’ve entered into a year-long collaboration with them, and you’ll be seeing lots of Stampendous on their design team blog, and our design team is having a blast playing with Spellbinders products!!
We’re kicking off the collaboration with a terrific Holiday Blog Hop! For the next three days – November 18, 19, and 20th – we’ll be showcasing some fantastic projects featuring Spellbinders dies and our great stamps! And there are PRIZES!
Each day you’ll want to start at the Spellbinders’ Blog. There you’ll find a list of the participating partner companies for that day. You must visit ALL the partner blogs and those of their designers to win. So sharpen your commenting pencils! Here’s who is playing –
Spellbinders has compiled a prize package for each day of the hop consisting of three of their brand new die sets/templates plus product from the sponsoring companies! Each picture above links to that company’s blog!
But wait, there’s more! Because on our blog each of the three days we’ll be promoting the Spellbinders hop by giving away a prize package of our own. We love a great Halloween invitation, one that shows exactly how much fun will be had if we go! And oh, it would be great to share in our scrapbook pages afterwards. Our Witchy Dance Stamp can accomplish this and more with some creative imagination.
But it’s also awesome for your Halloween party decor, like this gum ball machine created by Debbie Cole to entertain trick or treating guests. If you’d like to make one, too, you can find the unfinished gumball machine from Viking Wood Products HERE. They generously sent one to Debbie for this project.
There’s more projects to entice you to watch our witchy wonders this week.
Today several of our Design Team Members have a second project to show you featuring the gorgeous papers sent to us by Authentique™ Paper. These papers were intended for our BIG Blog Hop in October and our team is using them on our October Catalog Samples. But we couldn’t resist sharing them just a bit early with some other images.
We have a fun prize to give away this week. Only one, but it’s a good one! One lucky winner will get some Authentique papers of their own, plus a $20 Stampendous Reward Card. WOW! How? Just comment on the blogs this week! Miss the earlier posts? Here they are: MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY
You have until Sunday night to comment, then Monday we’ll choose one winner for the prize! So hop around and leave these hard-working gals some love on their terrific projects! (that means comment on their blogs!)
They were kind enough to provide patterned papers for our October Spring themed catalog, and we thought we’d give you a little preview of how gorgeous they are with this week’s blog posts. Our team took a brief break from their catalog deadline to create some beautiful projects using Stampendous Stamps. And we’re going to give away some sheets of Authentique plus a $20 Stampendous Reward Card! (just one prize this week) In case you missed the previous posts, they are here: MONDAY, TUESDAY
So hop on over to these gorgeous blog posts and comment on each one for the chance to win some fantastic goodies.
Wow, what a week! Hope you’ve been hopping around all the blogs leaving comments so you can maybe win some Stack Art! The prize consists of one Stack Art Kraftboard Kit, one Stack Art Stamp Set and one Stack Art Elements kit. We’ll give three of these prize packages to commenters this week on the participating blogs!
Designers have done so many fantastic things with our Stack Art kraftboard pieces. It’s so fun to see all the possibilities.
Here, Stampendous owner Fran Seiford, has created a tribute to all four seasons using the Stack Art Regal Bird Kit and the Tree Poem Stamp. Punching holes and wiring the kraftboard pieces together, this simple but dynamic piece was easy to assemble.
In a similar project, Fran used our Floral Lady to create a lovely Spring themed Triptych. Assembled with large jump rings fashioned of wired.
Finally a little Snow Fun is just as easy to make. Here brads are placed through the holes and then wired together in the back. This features our Bird Knit Hat, Sweet Snowgirl, and Winter Wonderland stamps.
You can see that the possibilities with these versatile kits are literally endless! Let’s see what today’s designers created with the terrific products we sent them. Be sure to leave your comments so that we can enter you to win some of your own!
Tomorrow we’ll start our terrific Blog Hop with the ICE Resin® team and the Designers from Imagine Crafts®! Our team is so excited because they have just loved playing with the resin products and the gorgeous Rue Romantique bezels, ribbons, and beads. Their creations will astonish you, and you’ll get so much inspiration for your own projects. And of course the Tsukineko® products we receive from Imagine Crafts are among our very favorite toys for every application! In fact, we’ll be sharing a Blog Hop with our friends from Imagine Crafts later this month (May 19-23). Don’t miss it.
To get you warmed up for tomorrow’s hop we have a few designers sharing ideas and inspiration today! First, we’d like to share this gorgeous necklace from Designer Debbie Cole! Like yesterday’s piece it features the terrific Vintage Ladies Perfectly Clear Stamp™ Set from Stampendous. This set was specially designed by Fran Seiford at Debbie’s request to make smaller images that easily fit into a bezel for dynamic pendants, rings, earrings, etc. It contains 4 lovely ladies, a small version of our super-popular Rose Corset, plus backgrounds and words. It’s really a must-have.
Here’s Debbie’s necklace created for our January Catalog and our show at CHA.
A few more designers are sharing with you today to get you warmed up for the weekend! Be sure to leave them some nice comments on their posts. We’ll give away one Vintage Ladies set from the comments left on the pre-blog hop posts, so if you missed Monday or Tuesday be sure to check them out and leave them some love!
