What would I pay, To spend a day, Warm on the sand!
We might have a view of sailboats and surfers, seashells and beach huts, too with Pink Your Life stamps by artist Nicoletta Zanella.
For a day at the beach, Nicoletta provides all that is necessary to enjoy the ocean and stay cozy on the shore in our Beach Day Perfectly Clear Stamp Set. Check out the versatility with these stamps from our designer’s projects that go from pastels to grunge hues!
Enjoy a stroll on the beach, a sunset nap or catch a wave in these stamps sized just right for a greeting card. Or add these fun beach activities to a scrapbook page, as table decor or a party theme invitation!
Accent any shore with the look of real sand using our Golden Sand Embossing Enamel! Kristine used it on her Beach Girl (below) and Beach Day (shown above) cards for a great effect. Find our embossing powder in a single jar or in a 5-Jar Beach kit in the Opaque Embossing Powders category of our website.
Fran created this beautiful springtime card easily by using the coordinating dies for the butterflies, lilac, and leaves, but she used another valuable die tool to give the card it’s dimensional look.

If you guessed Fran’s Pop Up, Die Set you are correct, but if you alternately said Pop Up Stages Die Set that would work just as great! Our Pop Up Stages offers more variation in dimension with the individual dies for columns, tabs, and stages, but the results are spectacular whichever die set that you choose.
The butterflies were stamped into Chunky Embossing Powder on a die cut to give depth to the wings. As well Dee added them, so they look like they are taking a brief rest on the antiqued key. Click the photo’s caption for more information about this amazing project.

We have mixed media on the mind this month and for a good reason. With our latest release of stamp sets designed by International Mixed Media Artist and DecoArt Executive Creative Consultant Andy Skinner, we are eager to get into a mix of stamps, ink, and paint.
It’s the perfect time because we are thrilled to join The Mixed Media Monthly Challenge blog as the sponsor with our very own Fran Seiford in the guest designer spotlight!!!! Stop on over at their blog, meet the design team and spark your creativity with “Sweet Inspirations” by their team and join in on the challenge.
Speaking of sweet inspirations here are the new Andy Skinner stamps sets with a few projects for inspiration!
We have a surprise blog hop happening today for one of the best reasons we can think. One of the most delightful, friendly and loving people in the crafting industry is growing a year wiser and we think a celebration is in order!
Design Team Director and Graphics Manager, Laura Weed is having a birthday and our group of designers must celebrate! She keeps us all in order, makes our projects look professional in print and online and treats us with all sorts of crafting goodies to share Stampendous inspiration with all of you! Today’s hop is our way to say thank you for all that she does and wish her a supercalifragilisticexpialidocoius day….
The October catalog brings a little bit of early spring inspiration with butterflies and flowers in all sorts of styles. As you can see our Butterfly Wings Background is a graphical design that is great all by itself as Fran’s card above shows so well and can be joined with so many other stamps in our catalog.
Lilac Aroma by Kristine Reynolds
As for the florals offered in this release, we have a pretty cute admirer for the lilacs in this House-Mouse Designs card by Kristine Reynolds. There are oodles of squeak worthy stamp images for spring House-Mouse and they are easy to browse through over on our website right now in the New House-Mouse Designs section!
Now that we’ve started the inspiration it’s time to keep the momentum going with our designer favorites being shared today! Enjoy!

We can think of tons of project ideas with the new houses just by themselves but we think they pair up nicely with yesterday’s Whisper Friends, too.

Mixed Media, a hot trend in papercrafting and scrapbooking, shows no signs of slowing down. Stampendous is thrilled to create new stamps, stencils and tools for this wonderful art form. We’ve been so blessed to have artwork from folks like Nathalie Kalbach, Andy Skinner and even Fran herself jumping on board to create some mixed media images, tools and techniques for us.
Our current, amazing Design Team frequently provides us with some wonderful Mixed Media projects. Our industry collaborations have allowed us to work with terrific products for lots of artsy fun. We’ve been blessed with oceans of DecoArt paint; wonderful Clear Scraps, Canvas Corp, and Tando Creative surfaces; and so much more. The DT has loved working with these products and working with terrific Mixed Media Artists from all over the world.
Recent changes in our team allowed us to add some rising Mixed Media stars to our crew. These folks aren’t using stamps to make typical greeting cards, they’re taking these printing tools to the next level to create amazing projects that will challenge us, our Design Team, and even you, our fans, to think outside the wood block and breathe a whole new life into your stamping stash. We dare ya to play along!!
It just so happens that these three talented folks are all from the UK. Click their names to visit their blogs and welcome them to the Stampendous family!
We’re excited to welcome to the team:
Katy is helping us coordinate across the pond now that we have a significant team there. She’ll be helping Janelle keep this wild and crazy bunch on task. (Actually they’re terrifically punctual and dependable, it’s Katy who will add the zany to this group!) In her own words:
I think I’d have to describe myself as obsessed with rubber stamps! I’ve been stamping for ten years but somehow the novelty has never worn off. I love to create in all kind of styles but particularly love mixed media work. You’ll often find me holed up in my studio, up to my elbows in paint and ink and wondering where the last five hours went….
Nothing makes me happier than creating stuff, and I am lucky to work freelance in the craft industry – doing what I love for a living! I write for several UK-based papercrafting magazines, teach and demonstrate, as well as working as a virtual assistant to a number of craft professionals.
I am so excited to be a part of the Stampendous family as I know I am going to adore working with their amazing products!
Mark introduced us to Dee, and we’re sure glad he did. Wait until you see the amazing pieces she created for the Stampendous July Catalog! Like WOW! Her coasters using the Pink Your Life stamp images are particularly wonderful, while some of her Halloween pieces left us squealing with spooky delight! She particularly loves Stampendous Embossing Enamels and the Frantage look!
Hello everyone! my name is Dee, my passion is focused in the mixed media side of art, although I am inspired by all varieties of art. I enjoy pushing my capabilities as an artist, and learning new techniques, and mastering old and current ones, too. I love the way art can encapsulate all of my stresses and worries and push it onto a page, at the same time providing a personal therapy for all the stresses of day to day life. I love layering, textures, and embossing, all of which feature extensively throughout my work. I feel very fortunate in the sense that I have been asked to join the Stampendous mixed media design team and use their amazing products to create mixed media pieces that hopefully will inspire.
Mark Gould first came to our attention as a member of DecoArt’s International Design Team. We played with them in 2014 and were absolutely blown away by this guy’s talent. He’s no stranger to stamps, and has played on other design teams. He contributes frequently to several UK Cardmaking and Papercrafting publications, so we’re looking forward to seeing more and more Stampendous in his work. He often teaches and demonstrates DecoArt products in craft stores and at trade and consumer shows, and we’re super excited that he’ll be coming to California in October to teach several mixed media classes using Stampendous, DecoArt and Tando Creative products. At home the only things that can drag him away from his art projects are his lovely lady, his fun-loving kitties, and the lure of killing virtual zombies. Mark has our dark side covered… just a warning as we head into Halloween season! Check out Mark’s Hand Canvas!
