A few feathered friends have a glittery and shimmery home in our featured projects for today’s post. Shaved Ice on Dreamweaver Regular Paste is a great festive addition to this Winter Tweet Birdhouse created by Decorative Artist and instructor Debbie Cole.
All you need is a sticky base and elements that catch the light in a room to add glitz to your projects. Here is a beautiful burst of shimmer and glitter from Spoonful of Silver and Spoonful of Snow used on a Sticky Panels sheet for a home base to Fran’s festive bluebird card.
Stop by the projects earlier this week from our design team for ideas and inspiration with our tweet set of products. We’ll see you tomorrow with more inspiration to our Winter Tweets week.
Happy Friday everyone! It’s a combination day of 31 Days of Halloween and our Really Mice Fall theme week with these little sweet adventuring mice who are ready for trick or treating. This might be our longest post yet this month with hop lists for both events going on, but we know you’ll enjoy whatever hop you take to our designer’s projects.
We just love what Debbie Cole created with House-Mouse® Mice Costumes and how much fun it will be to have her trick or treat box out for Halloween decor. All the instructions and supplies are available on our website, just click on the photo’s caption to get there.
Did you know that there you can buy House-Mouse® stamps online? A healthy supply is always available on our website, but you can also grab up these sweet images in other online stores like Simon Says Stamps and The Official House-Mouse Designs® Web Site. For a full list of online retailers who carry Stampendous products and even these cute and adventurous mice go to our Store Locations and click on Online Retailers under the map.
Our adventure here with Monica, Amanda, and Maxwell trick or treating around the jack o’lantern leads us into Halloween goodies with our 31 Days hop!
Here is our sneak peek for today and Friday’s Really Mice Fall designer project! Stop by Monday’s post and Wednesday’s post for more fall mice inspiration!
We are adding painting to our Stencil Thursday post because well, we are still having a great time at the Heart of Ohio Tole painting convention. With all of our wonderful stencil we have from Dreamweaver Stencils and Fran’s metal stencils there are plenty to add accents to your painted projects.
Stencils can add wonderful texture in any of your painted decor pieces like Debbie Cole’s Steam Pumpkin Frame shown above. The gears in the background create a fabulous depth and mat the floating painted Steam Pumpkin image amazingly!
We are still at the Heart of Ohio Tole painting convention. Each year Decorative Painters, Manufacturers, Designers and Crafters meet in Ohio for a terrific event full of classes, shopping, and painting demonstrations.

Here we are on our last, and biggest hop day with international mixed media artist Andy Skinner and his wonderful Design Team at DecoArt. We hope you’ve been amazed and delighted at the inspiration we’ve shared with you. Andy’s stamps are just so exciting and fun to use, and we know you’ve loved seeing the range of the DecoArt Fluid Media line as well.
One reason we focused on the Media range for this blog hop, is that it’s the perfect acrylic paint to use when tinting your Dreamweaver Embossing Pastes! Just one drop of these pigment-rich media paints is enough to tint a generous quantity of paste for making your favorite backgrounds. Don’t be afraid to color your pastes to match your projects. Most Dreamweaver Embossing Pastes can be tinted very easily. Here are some examples from our own Leadonna Fritts! You might just recognize some of these made into projects on her blog this week.

Pop Rectangles Stencil,

Now get hopping and be sure to leave a trail of comments on each of the designer blogs. Each comment gets you one entry for a great prize package (open to everyone) of all three of Andy Skinner’s newest stamps for Stampendous PLUS a Fluid Media Acrylic Starter Kit.
Hope you’ve been enjoying some mad mixed media skills as we hop this week with Andy Skinner and his fantastic international design team from DecoArt. Even if mixed media, grunge, shabby isn’t your favorite look, we want you to know that Andy’s stamps, designed exclusively for Stampendous, can be used for some really fun and adorable art.

Being it a painterly kind of week and all we are mixing it up a notch or two with stencils and paint today. Debbie Cole, Creative Decorative Artist, has made a beautiful background mix of stencil embossing, painting and stamping that dance around the canvas as happy as can be.
Bare Trees Pendant by Debbie Cole
Debbie’s artistic viewfinder focused on key branches from the Bare Trees Stencil to give this pendant necklace an interesting design. Just think of all the great pendants that can be created using various sections from a single stencil!
There are more stencil and paint ideas from our team. Louise Healy combined embossed Maidenhair Fern Stencil and Honeycomb Stencil with paint to an excellent wall hanging. It is one of her favorite projects and I can see why.
Pam Hornschu wowed our stencil loving hearts with this box in October. That Quatrefoil Stenciled box lid is jaw-dropping awesome with the complementing black Small Damask stenciling on the side of the box!
We are at Creative Paint right now with a busy hub of painters learning how to use our products with Debbie Cole and looking at the Dreamweaver Stencils displayed in our booth too! Stop by and say hello if you’re on the show floor, we are booth #402 – 406.
The show floor is open at the Creative Painting Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada and so is our Stampendous booth! Her fabulous technique of pendant making will be on display as well, so don’t miss out on seeing and learning just how fun it is to combine stamps with decorative and creative painting.

Hello and welcome to another day of our mashup with Santa and wobbly action projects. Our team is having way too much fun making a wide range of wobbly cards AND there are a few video clips to see just how they wobble. Catch up on them from Monday if you haven’t already and check out today’s list of designers who are ready to dazzle you with Santa’s, wobbly cards or both!
Since it IS about Santa this week too, we have some projects from our catalog with a few bag issues! They are brimming full of presents that are just begging to be seen. First up is this amazing book box by Debbie Cole who captures the vintage and country vibe of our Quilted Santa stamp. Isn’t this just amazing!

And then there is a classic version of Santa, as Classic Santa in wood or cling rubber mount.
Asia King created this gorgeous Classic Santa card and those young at heart believe the sentiment says is all. Get all the details on how Asia created this card over on our website HERE.
We can’t get enough of the big fat man with the long white beard around this time of year, so let’s hop on over to these designer’s projects and see if we can find him!
