This week we have a special collaboration for you (and yes, there are PRIZES)! We’re playing with Add a Little Dazzle’s Metal Sheets all week, and you’ll be thrilled at the looks you can get when you combine this gorgeous product with stamps, dies, powders, etc!

The company very generously sent each of our Design Team members an assortment of their gorgeous metal. You can punch it, stamp on it, die cut it, cut, sand it to reveal its silver lining, the possibilities are endless! You’ll love playing with this product, and we know you want to win some!

We’re offering three prize packages in exchange for comments on the blog posts this week. The prize package consists of the Stampendous Blossom Beauty Stamp set, the Blossom Beauty Cutting Dies and an Assortment Package of gorgeously colored metal sheets.

Prize Package from Add a Little Dazzle

Here’s my sample using the Blossom Beauty. I die cut the flowers after I stamped them with StazOn. I stamped the Butterfly with our W120 Rattan Weave stamp before die cutting him and stamped it on the card front as well. The butterfly is from the Lovely Garden Die Set. Notice that I added our Gold Holographic Dot Sparklers Class A’Peels™ Stickers to the flower center for even more dazzle!

Our Final Day of “Sneak Peek”

Jennifer Dove’s Spooky Skeleton bids you farewell. The Sneak Peek is almost over.

We’ve enjoyed sharing tidbits of all our new products and images this week. We will be revealing all of our wonderful new designs in a very short order! We’ve been busy posting all of our amazing projects from our catalog onto our website so that you can see all the ingredients and make them yourself. Our designers write instructions for their samples so that we can share the fun. We hope you enjoy all the Fran•táge Halloween, Christmas and Everyday stuff coming your way. Every day’s a holiday!

Welcome, ClearScraps!

We’re so excited this week because we get to play with the generous people at ClearScraps and share some inspiration with you.  How this came about…

Last year at we offered a workshop using ClearScraps 8 X 8 Sassy Mixables Album. I LOVED working with this product, and so did all our students. The workshop was such fun, and a huge success.

Baby, It’s Cold Outside Album by Laura Weed

Thanks to our generous friends at ClearScraps, Tsukineko, Bazzill, and American Crafts we were able to send our students home with an amazing project.

However, due to unfinalized enrollment numbers at the time, we brought home lots of extra albums… what to do? Of course…send them to our Designers (and save a few for YOU!)

At CHA I got to talk to my friends at ClearScraps, and they told me about their new Send It Clear acrylic greeting cards. An idea began to form. How about a blog collaboration with their design team where each member would make a project for the week and a separate one for the BIG Saturday Blog Hop! YES!

ClearScraps sent enough cards for our Design Team (and for YOU), our good buddies at Tsukineko sent inks for everybody (yes, YOU, too!), and we were off!

Acrylic products always look so cool in the store, but what do you do with it when you get it home? You’re about to find out! A whole week of the most luscious, fun, doable projects you’ve ever seen. AND there will be prizes! (here’s where the stuff for YOU comes in). We’ve got three huge prize packages to give away featuring Stampendous Class A’Peel Stickers, Stampendous Cling Rubber Stamps, Stampendous Perfectly Clear Stamps, a ClearScraps Album just like ours, two Send it Clear Cards from Clear Scraps, an additional ClearScraps product (varies), a colored StazOn ink pad from Tsukineko, an opaque StazOn pad from Tsukineko (with refill), some Sponge Daubers and some Ink Blushers from imagine Crafts/Tsukineko. You can win our prizes in three ways –

  • Comment here on our blog – all week  –  we’ll choose one winner from the Mon – Fri Comments
  • Check us out on Facebook! We’ll keep our ClearScraps collaboration posts at the top. Click SHARE and share them on your wall. We’ll draw a winner from all the folks who SHARE our posts this week (through Saturday’s hop)
  • Comment on our Hop! Saturday will be our big Blog Hop – comment on the blogs and we’ll enter you once for each comment!

Plus – ClearScraps has a passel of prizes as well. You can win them by visiting and commenting on their blog!

So our Design Teams have been playing with these fun products. Here are the players today! Be sure to leave comments!

A New May Challenge – and a Winner for April!

A new month brings a new challenge with our design teams.  This month, we’re challenging ourselves (and all of you) to get a head start on Mother’s Day, end-of-school-year Teacher Gifts, and Father’s Day by creating gifts!  Anything goes…gift sets, altered items, gift card holders, gift tags – whatever you can think of!

Design team member Taylor Usry used the new Cottage Rose jumbo stamp, paired with several sentiments form the Perfectly Clear Orchid Greetings set, to create a clean and simple set of six notecards for her mother-in-law, as part of her Mother’s Day gift (you can see the other cards in the set on her blog).  Be sure to check out what a few of other our design team members have created for the challenge today!

And we want YOU to play along with us!  Simply make a gift, gift set (could be cards, could be an altered item), or a gift card holder of some sort and add the direct link for your project to our collection at the end of this post (or on the Stampendous blog) no later than Thursday, May 31 at 11:59 PM EST .  You do not have to use Stampendous products, but we sure love it when you do!  As an extra incentive for playing along, one lucky crafter (drawn at random) will receive this fabulous new Cling Jumbo Tropical Garden stamp set:

This is the final week of our challenge and we’ve got some fun textured inspiration for you to enjoy.

CRS5032 Cling Jumbo Orchid by Pam Hornschu

Just look at this card Pam Hornschu made for our Design Team. It’s got so much texture it’s fairly bursting! The visual texture of the colored and black backgrounds, the layered flower, the additional layer of a butterfly sticker. WOW… this card POPS! She’s used our Cling Jumbo Orchid stamp set, our Cling Butterfly Post, and our retired Bella Butterflies stickers in Mirrored Silver (you may still find these at your local stamp store!) She’s even added textuer to her coloring on the flower by using textured cloth dipped in Copic Blending Solution to remove to color in textured patterns. Scrumptious!
