The Earth Giggles in Flowers

We’re taking time to smell the roses this week, and the poppies and the daisies and flowers and foliage of every sort. Our Designers let us know they had lots left to share with you from our April 2016 Catalog, so we’re making room for all that beauty.

Flowers are one of the most fun images to color with any medium, so they lend themselves particularly well to cardmaking. They’re also very versatile, so you can pair them with any good word set and have a greeting card for just about any occasion. We hope you’ll visit our Designers’ blogs this week, leave them some comments, then take some time to stamp and color some flowers for yourself!

Here are a few more gorgeous cards we received from the inimitable Jennie Lin Black. She does love coloring with those Copic Markers, and flowers are one of her specialties!

Now go take a look at our participating Designer’s today, they’re giggling with flowers just for you! Remember to leave a comment or two!

Sneak a Peek at Paper! Mixed Media Paper!

CHA Show Banner

One of the things we’re excited about at the Craft and Hobby Association Mega Show is that we can now bring you our very, very favorite white cardstock at a terrific value. Our new Mixed-Media White Paper is a gorgeous, ultra-brilliant, super-white 80lb cover stock that is perfect for any media you enjoy using. It takes alcohol markers beautifully, but also works brilliantly with colored pencils, water colors, acrylic paints, ink refills, embossing and even computer printing. We use it for absolutely everything here in the Stampendous Graphics Department, especially monoprinting with our Creative Palettes. We’re thrilled to be able to offer you a 25 sheet package of 8-1/2″ X 11″ paper for a suggested retail of just $7.99. That’s amazing for a premium paper like this. You’ll just love it – we promise!

Our Mixed Media White Paper will be available on our website January 23, but our wholesale store customers can buy it now. They’re stocking up, so check with your local stamping, scrapbooking or craft store to see if they’ve added it to their shopping list.

Here Fran shows you some favorite projects and techniques using this incredibly versatile paper.

Such exciting events to start off 2015!

We’ve been peeking our new products to you this week. They’re only available to our wholesale stores right now, but you’ll be able to order them retail on our website beginning January 23. (we have to let them stock up so they can fill your orders from our website!) Start making your shopping list now!

One of our newest innovations is our Pop-Up Card Die Set! Unlike other Pop Up cards, ours features a system of overhanging tabs that add extra dimension to your creations. Fran Seiford shows you how this unique system works.

Pop-Up Die Set

We’ve also created a special Build a Bouquet Stamp Set (with matching Die Set available) that will let you make gorgeous floral Pop-Up cards and gardens full of greetings. The matching dies make it soooooo easy to cut out your flowers. And when you stamp them on monoprinted paper from our Creative Palette, a bountiful bouquet can be yours in just minutes! Here Fran demonstrates how to use these gorgeous blooms!

Butterfly Collages, Summer on the Wing

This week our Design Team is playing with the beautiful butterfly stamps we released in April. These gorgeous images are already collaged for you. With enough area to be fun to color and enough background to save you heaps of time, they’re a super quick way to get a gloriously textured, layered card. You can cut out the butterfly from a second stamping to add depth, or simply stamp in black over your Creative Palette monoprints for a fast and easy card.
