Or, if you have some extra time and want to step it up, you can use an oval die to cut out the frame and make a shaker card, then cut an extra butterfly to overlap in style.
We think you’ll love this new set and want to play all Spring with these delightful butterflies.
We were very excited to add to our collection of Laurel Burch images in our April Catalog. These whimsical images which lend to bright, beautiful colors just have us completely enchanted. We’ll look this week at some of the new images and then a little later on in May at the rest of them. Remember that our Laurel Burch Coloring Guide is yours to download so that you can get the Laurel Burch look on your own projects.
First up is the beautiful Imagine Butterflies set! Five lovely butterflies with masks/stencil included plus a pair of antennae to share and the word “imagine,” can be paired with the matching Cutting Dies set to create an entire garden full of magical flutterings.
Our Design Team has been working hard to bring you some beautiful project inspiration, and we have some extra friends stamping along this week.
First up, with a gorgeous card you “can’t resist” (get it?, go look at the card), is the amazing:
We are taking a look at our Design Team’s favorite cards of the brand new April 2018 Catalog. These products will be live on our website for retail on March 30th! But your favorite store can order this Friday! Be sure to talk to your friendly, neighborhood stamp, craft, or scrapbooking store about ordering your favorites! And be sure to sneak back on Friday to see more, wonderful new products! We’ll even have a link to the digital catalog for you!
Our new favorites included some wonderful new Laurel Burch images, of course! We’ll do two whole weeks of sharing with these the week of April 30, and the week of May 21. But here are a couple of sneaky peeks to tide you over… (pssst… you’ll be able to see all the samples on our website on March 30)
Now go check out the faves from our Design Team and leave them some nice comments!
On January 6th we published our Butterflies and Dies, Oh My! post. In it we attributed this beautiful mixed media canvas to our fabulous Fran Seiford. But it turns out (oops!!) it was created by our Artist Consultant Debbie Cole, CDA! So sorry, Debbie, for the boo boo! We’re so glad you brought it to our attention. And this gives all of you another chance to view it’s Springtime wonder!
Can you manage one more amazing way to use our butterflies and dies? It’s this gorgeous butterfly garland by artist Rubin Ruiz who shared it on our Facebook Page over the Christmas holiday. Click on the photo below to view Rubin’s Facebook video. Enjoy!
Butterflies have such a wonderful pattern of fluttering around, just thinking about it will lift your spirits. If only they would sit still long enough to enjoy their beautiful design. So here are two more projects from the Stampendous team.
We love the pendant Wendy Price created back in October with the Butterflies Die set and HHH Enterprises jewelry finding. We’ve linked her blog post to the photo below if you want to go check it out. It’s truly gorgeous!
Are you ready to flutter on over and see some fabulous designs by our designers? We thought so.
Hello and welcome to a new week and a new product focus! Our Winter Wonderland last week was frosty fun and it was so wonderful to see you come along for the inspiration even as we were ringing in the New Year!
If the designer’s projects impressed you last week when they added vibrant fun colors to our snowy images, this week they are going to have us all dreaming of Spring with butterflies and dies!
Let’s bring on the beautiful butterfly inspiration!
Our PenPattern Butterflies are so much fun to color with their strong designs and patterns. There is also a free stencil and mask that comes in the package for decorative painting and mixed media projects.
The coordinating set of Butterflies Die Cutting set make it easy to create three-dimensional projects or brighten up decor with a spring theme.
This gorgeous mixed media canvas by Debbie Cole, CDA is having us dreaming of spring around the office already! She created this airy butterfly scene with our PenPattern Butterflies, Blossom Bunch, Elegant Scroll stamps and the Creative Palette with some mixed media supplies.
Let’s keep on dreaming of spring this week and walk along the path to some design team inspirations!
These beautiful collage stamps we’re featuring this week capture perfectly the Fran•táge style. Vintage, shabby chic, a bit timeworn and well-loved (or neglected), all these elements lend a charm and beauty to items and greetings. We’ve done the work for you with collages of vintage and original images combined with Fran’s flair for composition to create these gorgeous stamps. Each with a small space perfect for the greetings from our Quotes Perfectly Clear Stamps™ sets.
The design team has been sharing all week, and they’ve more to share today! Hope you’ve enjoyed the inspiration and might want to add a couple of these images to your collection!
Kristine Reynolds made this gorgeous card without a greeting! So festive and sweet with all the butterflies adding so much texture, and using the Encrusted Jewel Technique on the edges of her focal point!
Here’s some more inspiration from our terrific team!
Our Spring Collage images are just perfect for a quick and colorful card! Pick certain areas to color, color the whole thing, don’t color any of it! Stamp on patterned paper for a quick card, or layer over many other images for a textured wonder! These great images are super simple to use.
You’ll notice that each of the images has a “space” that’s perfect for a greeting! Well, our Quotes greetings sets have lots of words that fit beautifully in those spaces. They are:
