Be sure to stop by and give them all some love and maybe win yourself a une peu de Paris.
And we will have some WINNERS from our wonderful commenters on our Autism Blog Hop/Everyday Chicks Week, last week! Winners will be announced Tuesday on Veronica’s blog and then Wednesday we’ll confirm them here, so stay tuned.
Even your mom will find our terrific texture cubes easy to use. And she’d love one as a gift! They’re the most versatile stamps she’ll ever own, and they’re just bursting with possibilities.
We have more texture for you today, our friend Andy Skinner has designed two new stamp sets for us that are just amazing for adding texture to your projects.
The first one, Fossils, has so many wonderful patterns and potential completely aside from the great images themselves. Each image can add a ton of texture when applied to a background in a subtle color. You will adore these.
The second set from Andy Skinner is Textures! And it’s full of subtle, almost there images that will haunt the backgrounds of your cards adding a wonderful depth and dimension. Take a look.
We got a couple of great samples from Andy, himself, showing these wonderful stamps
And Andy has his own Design Team who have been playing with these textures and creating some very amazing things!
AND – we hope you’ve read this far because we have some

We’ve had so much fun this month, sharing our great Halloween products and projects with you.
We have a super special guest today! Candy Colwellshared this FANTASTIC project over on mixed media artist and stamp designer Andy Skinner’s blog the other day, and WOW… we had to contact her right away to ask if we could share here, too!
She showed us that she had even more fantastic projects, and now we’re just a little fangirl over her wonderful work. She’s been using the amazing Andy Skinner stamps, both new and previous, and it’s wonderful!
Take a look at her Doomsday Clock! (you can click on the pictures to be taken to the tutorial)
His arms move to the “time” of your choice! The skulls dangling from chains on his wrists…. the faux finishing… the great greyboard gates and bits from Tando Creative… oooooh… swoon! Candy used a ton of great products to make this fantastic project, including:
Candy was kind enough to point us to another fabulous piece of hers that she did for Andy Skinner’s Blog – (again, clicking the picture will take you to the tutorial).
This is The Bird Brain –
Wowzer!! This was created with even more of Andy’s great stamps like –
Finally, there aren’t words for how much we love this amazing creation with its faux drawers and all kinds of ghastly goodies!

The Tropicana Hotel is the home for this fantastic event celebrating Decorative Painting, and we’ve attended each year for the last several years to show decorative painters how easy it is to use stamps. Rubber stamps make wonderful and easy background patterns for painted, home décor projects. In addition, they are an easy way to transfer a pattern to a piece for painting. Some of our large images like this Bird Blossom stamp are perfect for stamping, painting, and outlining to save loads of time on a gorgeous project.
This project was designed by Debbie Cole and taught by Tammie Wilson at this year’s Creative Paint event.
The other class taught by Sue Thornton was a fantastic Steampunk Jingle Bell plaque that used Train Postcard stamp.
It was a great turn out for both classes and all attendees worked hard to complete their projects. We can’t wait until next year!
Super excited for the biggest show of the year for the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA). #Creativation starts in Phoenix, AZ in just a few days. We’d love to see you in Booth #1122.
Stampendous will have soooo many new surprises for 2017, and we’ll release them at this fantastic event! We’ll have demonstrations, new products, new images, new innovation, and all sorts of fun! Why not join us?
[And for our fans who can’t be there, don’t worry, we’ll share our fun on our Social Media Channels throughout the event.]
Not a member of CHA? You can join! You’d be surprised how easy and inexpensive it is to join craft industry manufacturers, retailers, designers, bloggers, and more in this terrific organization! Check out membership and registration here: REGISTRATION
The fantastic, international mixed media artist and DecoArt Executive Creative Consultant Andy Skinner joins us again in the Stampendous booth this year! We’ll be releasing MORE of his wonderful designs for creating mixed media projects, and he’ll be on hand at Creativation to demonstrate them! Check out his demonstration from last year for some really cool paint techniques using stamps:
We love to let you know when you’ll have a chance to see Stampendous live on the road. And here’s another opportunity. Hard on the heels of CreativeWorld in Germany, we’re headed to the Creative Painting show in Las Vegas, Nevada at the newly remodeled and gorgeous Tropicana Hotel.
We’re extra excited this year because the very talented Chris Thornton is going to be teaching two workshops featuring Stampendous products. And a little bird tells us there a few seats left.
Her first class is a Sponsored Event on Tuesday, February 28th from 9am – 4pm. This gorgeous 12″ X 12″ pallet board with three canvas pieces would be an ideal home decor piece or a very special gift.
You can find all the details for both classes on the Stampendous website under Mixed Media/Classes and Events or on the Creative Painting Website (vegaspaint.com). Both classes require registration in the Vegas Paint convention in addition to the class fees.
Of course Stampendous will be on the exhibit floor in Booth #411 with tons of demos from the talented Tammie Wilson and bunches of our gorgeous new products just for you. Hope we can see you there!
All eyes are on the approaching holiday and we have a few stamps and stencils that will bring everything into focus! This week we are looking at the eyes of Halloween from our Halloween stamps in the 2016 Holiday Catalog from July.
Here’s our design team with a look into some fun Halloween projects!
We are adding painting to our Stencil Thursday post because well, we are still having a great time at the Heart of Ohio Tole painting convention. With all of our wonderful stencil we have from Dreamweaver Stencils and Fran’s metal stencils there are plenty to add accents to your painted projects.
Stencils can add wonderful texture in any of your painted decor pieces like Debbie Cole’s Steam Pumpkin Frame shown above. The gears in the background create a fabulous depth and mat the floating painted Steam Pumpkin image amazingly!
Debbie used the Large Scale stencil to create a quick and beautiful shingled roof for those delightful Winter Tweets birds.
There is still more to see today, stop by these designer’s blog for inspiration.
We are still at the Heart of Ohio Tole painting convention. Each year Decorative Painters, Manufacturers, Designers and Crafters meet in Ohio for a terrific event full of classes, shopping, and painting demonstrations.
If you find yourself near Columbus, Ohio August 8-13, do stop in and see us. Stampendous will be there with our latest products for Holiday 2016. Plus, we’ll have some special images celebrating this year’s theme – If you give a Mouse a Paintbrush… What could be more up our alley??!!
Distressing your art can be so much fun! It’s a great way to let off some frustration, or just to get out some of your more aggressive feelings. Or it can be a fun way to play with darker colors you generally don’t use.
We have a wonderful guest today who rarely uses dark colors and whose mixed media creations are famous for being bright and cheery!
But she’s joined us today to demonstrate her amazing versatility and to show us she can distress, too! Pulling out her darker paints, but giving us and enlightening and uplifting message today is DecoArt’s Education Cordinator:
Tracy has used the Stampendous Andy Skinner stamp line and some fantastic products from our friends at DecoArt. Click on the picture or her name above and leave her some love. International Mixed Media Artist and Instructor Andy Skinner is DecoArt’s Executive Creative Consultant. He leads their international design team and is now designing stamps for Stampendous! We’re super excited to have his new designs to expand our Mixed Media offerings, and he was kind enough to demo in our booth at CHA. Here he shows us how you can use just a couple of DecoArt’s Fluid Media Acrylic paints and his new stamps to make a rusty piece of metal out of a piece of cardboard. You’ll be itching to try this one!!
