Stampendous is excited to be teaching classes and sharing our newest products in the expo at Creative Painting in Las Vegas.
The Tropicana Hotel is the home for this fantastic event celebrating Decorative Painting, and we’ve attended each year for the last several years to show decorative painters how easy it is to use stamps. Rubber stamps make wonderful and easy background patterns for painted, home décor projects. In addition, they are an easy way to transfer a pattern to a piece for painting. Some of our large images like this Bird Blossom stamp are perfect for stamping, painting, and outlining to save loads of time on a gorgeous project.
This project was designed by Debbie Cole and taught by Tammie Wilson at this year’s Creative Paint event.
Super excited for the biggest show of the year for the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA). #Creativation starts in Phoenix, AZ in just a few days. We’d love to see you in Booth #1122.
Stampendous will have soooo many new surprises for 2017, and we’ll release them at this fantastic event! We’ll have demonstrations, new products, new images, new innovation, and all sorts of fun! Why not join us?
[And for our fans who can’t be there, don’t worry, we’ll share our fun on our Social Media Channels throughout the event.]
Not a member of CHA? You can join! You’d be surprised how easy and inexpensive it is to join craft industry manufacturers, retailers, designers, bloggers, and more in this terrific organization! Check out membership and registration here: REGISTRATION
The fantastic, international mixed media artist and DecoArt Executive Creative Consultant Andy Skinner joins us again in the Stampendous booth this year! We’ll be releasing MORE of his wonderful designs for creating mixed media projects, and he’ll be on hand at Creativation to demonstrate them! Check out his demonstration from last year for some really cool paint techniques using stamps:
We love to let you know when you’ll have a chance to see Stampendous live on the road. And here’s another opportunity. Hard on the heels of CreativeWorld in Germany, we’re headed to the Creative Painting show in Las Vegas, Nevada at the newly remodeled and gorgeous Tropicana Hotel.
We’re extra excited this year because the very talented Chris Thornton is going to be teaching two workshops featuring Stampendous products. And a little bird tells us there a few seats left.
Her first class is a Sponsored Event on Tuesday, February 28th from 9am – 4pm. This gorgeous 12″ X 12″ pallet board with three canvas pieces would be an ideal home decor piece or a very special gift.
You can find all the details for both classes on the Stampendous website under Mixed Media/Classes and Events or on the Creative Painting Website (vegaspaint.com). Both classes require registration in the Vegas Paint convention in addition to the class fees.
Of course Stampendous will be on the exhibit floor in Booth #411 with tons of demos from the talented Tammie Wilson and bunches of our gorgeous new products just for you. Hope we can see you there!
All eyes are on the approaching holiday and we have a few stamps and stencils that will bring everything into focus! This week we are looking at the eyes of Halloween from our Halloween stamps in the 2016 Holiday Catalog from July.
We are adding painting to our Stencil Thursday post because well, we are still having a great time at the Heart of Ohio Tole painting convention. With all of our wonderful stencil we have from Dreamweaver Stencils and Fran’s metal stencils there are plenty to add accents to your painted projects.
Stencils can add wonderful texture in any of your painted decor pieces like Debbie Cole’s Steam Pumpkin Frame shown above. The gears in the background create a fabulous depth and mat the floating painted Steam Pumpkin image amazingly!
We are still at the Heart of Ohio Tole painting convention. Each year Decorative Painters, Manufacturers, Designers and Crafters meet in Ohio for a terrific event full of classes, shopping, and painting demonstrations.

But she’s joined us today to demonstrate her amazing versatility and to show us she can distress, too! Pulling out her darker paints, but giving us and enlightening and uplifting message today is DecoArt’s Education Cordinator:

International Mixed Media Artist and Instructor Andy Skinner is DecoArt’s Executive Creative Consultant. He leads their international design team and is now designing stamps for Stampendous! We’re super excited to have his new designs to expand our Mixed Media offerings, and he was kind enough to demo in our booth at CHA. Here he shows us how you can use just a couple of DecoArt’s Fluid Media Acrylic paints and his new stamps to make a rusty piece of metal out of a piece of cardboard. You’ll be itching to try this one!!
