Christmas is almost here and we want to spread some inspiration around the stamping and crafting community with our newest Christmas products this week. With stamps and stencils just right for the season, they are sure to spread some joy and cheer!
These words of Christmas joys shape a Christmas tree in a terrific calligraphy way to create a festive card or tag for the holidays and Jamie Martin’s card is decorating them in traditional red and green.
The Christmas Heart stamp is great for sending an ornament to a friend over the miles or create a scrapbook page for your family tree decorated! Designer Janelle used watercolor for an old fashioned effect.
The inspiration isn’t ending here, just start hopping through our design team list below for tons of Christmas inspiration!

Here’s some fun from last year’s CHA MegaShow with Design Team Member and stencil expert Louise Healy! In this video she’s demonstrating Fran’s fabulous Metal Stencil Duos. We’ve had a lot of fun with these this year, and Fran has added several more sets since last January’s show! They’re one of our hottest products for getting started with stencils, or for advanced stencilers, doodlers, and crafters of all kinds!
We are adding painting to our Stencil Thursday post because well, we are still having a great time at the Heart of Ohio Tole painting convention. With all of our wonderful stencil we have from Dreamweaver Stencils and Fran’s metal stencils there are plenty to add accents to your painted projects.
Stencils can add wonderful texture in any of your painted decor pieces like Debbie Cole’s Steam Pumpkin Frame shown above. The gears in the background create a fabulous depth and mat the floating painted Steam Pumpkin image amazingly!
Debbie used the Large Scale stencil to create a quick and beautiful shingled roof for those delightful Winter Tweets birds.
There is still more to see today, stop by these designer’s blog for inspiration.
We are still at the Heart of Ohio Tole painting convention. Each year Decorative Painters, Manufacturers, Designers and Crafters meet in Ohio for a terrific event full of classes, shopping, and painting demonstrations.
If you find yourself near Columbus, Ohio August 8-13, do stop in and see us. Stampendous will be there with our latest products for Holiday 2016. Plus, we’ll have some special images celebrating this year’s theme – If you give a Mouse a Paintbrush… What could be more up our alley??!!
The possibilities and choices we have with our Fall theme Dreamweaver Stencils is plentiful and we are going to take a grand look at them plus our usual fantastic design team will be sharing samples with them!
To start off our design team samples we shared at the beginning of the post Louise Healy’s card where she made a triple pumpkin card adding lots of great earth texture with Essentials.
Celebrate the fall season in gorgeous colors of the maple leaf as Pam Hornschu created with stencils and dies on her card.
But don’t forget the garden with it’s potential for harvest. Laura Drahozal created this beautiful grape cluster card that we just love.
We have more brilliant projects from our design team today we know you’ll enjoy!
It’s here! We are so excited to talk about the new release of stencil products for Stencil Thursday. There are 40 Dreamweaver Stencils released and 10 new Fran’s stencil designs, so many we can’t share them all here so browse What’s New on the website or browse our catalog from here and here. There are more Stencil Duos, 5 sets, PLUS we are thrilled to release 3 all new Stencil, Stamp and Die sets! It is a stencilers dream release!
The Stencil Duos are just fabulous new sets! Each set includes two stencils, one open design and a complementing pattern design, a 0.003 black pen and 6 white card bases. It’s a terrific set for stocking stuffers, gifts and a great start to making your holiday cards.
We saved the ALL NEW sets for last with a great little video to learn great tips and techniques from Fran Seiford.
If you are feeling a little overwhelmed with new stencils right now, we are happy to say that in the next few weeks we’ll be dedicating more time to share these new stencils from the July release. In the meantime our designers today are sharing their favorites from the catalog.
One last note, Fran is back on Hochanda TV today with the One-Day Special plus creative ideas with some of our new released products! Stop by the Hochanda website TV schedule to see when the next Stampendous show will air.
Since Dreamweaver Stencils became part of our Stampendous family in January of 2015, we have been delighted over and over by how beautifully these products complement our original Stampendous products. Stenciled backgrounds just seem to complete a card or product with a flair and texture that never fails to make us smile! Our flowers are thrilled to be in such wonderful company. And Dreamweaver Stencils has plenty of wonderful flowers in its own right! You can see our whole collection HERE! We’re excited to present these Design Team creations from our April 2016 Catalog. Don’t miss the chance to play with these fun products! And be sure to leave them some sweet comments so that our team will continue to share their very best bouquets with all of us!
We hope you are enjoying the Beach Basics theme this week and ready to double the embossing inspiration with our Thursday stencil products.
Pam Hornschu has a fantastic Canvas Trio project that shows off the fun layering that happens between embossing pastes, stenciling and heat embossing. Each canvas has great texture, dimension and a splash of embellishments sure to inspire.
The technique for the beach and sea floor on these canvas pieces ties them together swimmingly.
Here’s one more fantastic project, also designed by Pam Hornschu, combining both embossing techniques on a smooth glass bottle. The results are just stunning!
No need to wait for more inspiration, just stop by these designer’s projects today with a treasure of ideas.
Lindsay incorporated all the tools in this set and it created quite a awesome masculine style scene card. There are just so many possibilities in one set, we know there will be endless creativity with Urban Scribbles.
Lindsay Weirich is having some vintage fun with Nathalie Kalbach’s Cling Fashion Dame Rubber Stamp Set in a video tutorial and it’s perfect timing with the blog hop we just had this week. Here’s her video, enjoy!
Two tips to keep in mind that are different from the way Lindsay used the products. First, ink your stencil flat on the table, not in your hand. Second, when peeling off your stencil, turn it upside down and peel the paper off the stencil, holding the stencil flat against the table. These two tricks will keep your stencil from getting bent and warped, warping will impair its function if used later with paste or sprays.
Our first and fabulously fun Challenge Hop with the team at House-Mouse and Friends, PLUS our UK and Australia distributors designers is at an end with oodles of inspiration from our teams, but also from YOU! Thank you for participating and enjoying our hop and entering in the InLinkz gallery, too!
