The flourish is a polishing step in design. It’s a detail, neat and pretty that shows you’ve taken that extra time to make your project special.
Did you know we have swirls and flourish stamps throughout our January 2015 Catalog? You can find them in the Cling Rubber Sets like Spring Bouquet, Moray Dahlia and the pot of gold in Cling Filigree?
Swirls and flourishes work great for finishing up those scrapbook pages, too! Here’s a scrapbook page from alumni Cindy Bundy’s project bin that uses the swirl border from Spring Bouquet.
It’s a brand new year and we wish you all the best in health, joy and of course more crafting time.
This week we’ve been walking through our Winter Wonderland Collection and our snowflakes are the magic ingredient. Start with any of our winter images, add a little snowflakes and a wonderland project is complete.
This Winter Snow stamp is two inches square in size perfect for tags and a repeated image for backgrounds that goes with Winter Wonderland stamp. Take a look at how this two stamps work together on Kristine Reynolds’ card.
Our Delicate Snow comes in three intricate flake designs that are a jumbo step up from our Winter Snow image because not one flake is alike. Krissy Fossmeyer used these larger snowflakes in such a simple way, but with a large impact.
When you add a coordinating set of dies with Delicate Snow Set you can create an interactive winter wonderland like the ornament project Wendy Price created for her Christmas tree.
Any of the samples we shared today have a supply list and instructions to go with them just click on the image or link below and it will take you to the complete project page.
We hope you have a great weekend and before you move away from our winter wonderland, please stop by our designers blog and see their projects.
This week we are going on a winter wonderland adventure. Whether your region has new fallen snow or no snowflakes in the forecast you can find them here. Come on lets go and play!
Our stamp set by the same name has interchangeable heads, bodies, and arms mean you can make a ton of frosty snowmen to celebrate Christmas or Winter. Perfect for scrapbooking those snowy days at home, too.
Build A Snowman Perfectly Clear Stamp Set
Oops! Our Build A Snowman Stamp Set is temporarily out of stock on Shopatron (our website). Shop at one of these online stores currently carrying this set. We’ll let you know when our site is back in stock.
What’s better than having fun in the snow? Having friends along to enjoy it! Send a snowy greeting with these buddies, or embellish your favorite Winterland scrapbook page.
Snowman Friends Perfectly Clear Stamps
Here’s a sweet card by Krissy Fossmeyer using our bundled Snowman Friends and they are sitting nicely on glittery snow.
Welcome to another full week of fun PenPattern designs with the holidays in mind!
Our PenPattern collection has enough doodles designed into them to color and go, and they also have clear spaces to create your own doodling. If you want to add doodles but find it difficult, stamp using one of our complementing PenPattern Background style stamps. Today our focus is on this adorable PenPattern Moose in the act of balancing his gift-giving load.
Spending too much time stamping your quick cards and not enough time finishing them? Save a few extra minutes by using our Cling Jumbo Stamps. Here are two sets with sample ideas to get your cardmaking mojo on the move.
Cling Delicate Snow – CRS5069
Here’s what you could expect from our Delicate Snow set. Embossing these snowflakes really adds to the delicate detail to create a gorgeous card with WOW! Krissy Fossmeyer has that WOW factor for her Delicate Snowflake Card. The adhesive pearls add just the right touch quickly and easily.
A darling little snowman with his nested friend can be done again! There are instructions available on our website here. And to wrap up our quick card ideas here’s what our designer of the day is sharing.
Our PenPattern Leaves and Jumbo Leaves stamps are really spectacular, but it doesn’t mean that the background should go unnoticed. There is a stamp in our leafy line that can take care of that nicely.
Krissy Fossmeyer colored the background stamp so wonderfully that we were glad to see it still coming through the Kind Friendship and Leaf Background panel.
Rhea found a way to capture the vivid colors of fall by using the Leaf Background stamp set as the focal point for her card.
Let’s see what projects these two designers have made with some of our Lovely Leaves.
The October Halloween Haunt Contest is over and we’ll be starting in on the November Challenge this Friday, that means there was a winner! Is it you? Go check it out if you haven’t yet done so.
Our leafy update: We are still watching our mailbox like a hawk so we can get the Jumbo Stamps and dies back in stock for our theme week. Good news you can still buy them even when our shelf is bare. See the list of online stores on our Tuesday post if you would rather grab them now over later.

Welcome to another week long collaboration! This week we’re playing with Core’dinations’ gorgeous papers! They always make a project pop with the addition of so much texture! Plus, they’re just plain yummy colors!
We love the way you can sand the papers to allow the coordinating color core show through. This card from our own Kristine Reynolds really highlights this fantastic technique. This works with embossing folders, metal dies (like those from our friends at Dreamweaver Stencils), or just sanding straight on the paper to create a distressed look.
