Rose Postcard

Here’s a quick break from all the holidays! We thought we’d share a lovely, everyday stamp with you today, our beautiful Rose Postcard. This stamp is just wonderful because you can just stamp it, and your background and focal point are already done for you. You can add a little color, you can color it very intricately. It’s so versatile! It’s available in wood mounted or Stampendous Cling Rubber.

    • Practice is always awesome, Beth, but we can tell you the very best thing to do is spend time looking at real flowers. Notice how the petal color is darker in the center and fades as it grows out, or if there is a striking color on the edges of the petals like a Double Delight. One thing that is super helpful is Lindsay Weirich’s Frugal Crafter video series on YouTube. She’s a terrific artist and can really teach you to see how the color progresses naturally. Get some coffee and a snack and try this link – it’s all her roses! https://www.youtube.com/user/thefrugalcrafter/search?query=rose
