Peacocks Galore

Peacock and Paisley

We’re sharing two great new Cling Rubber Stamp Sets with Matching Cutting Dies this week. We met our Poised Peacock and our Paisley Patterns on Monday .

Both Cling Rubber Stamp Sets come with a free template for masking the images or creating super cool backgrounds. You’ll love these gorgeous sets! Today, let’s look closer at our Poised Peacock.

The set has four stamps and a stencil that makes a great peacock feather background. The matching cutting dies cut right on the edge, with even the peacock feet cutting out perfectly. We evened the dies out around the edges of the feathers, so a little coloring “outside the lines” will produce easy-to-cut feathers that look amazing.

Fran has made a wonderful video sharing her samples with this great stamp set and dies.

Wanna win one?

We’ll give away one Poised Peacock Stamp Set and Cutting Dies and one Paisley Patterns Stamp Set and Cutting Dies (so two lucky winners) this week! Just leave us a comment telling us if you’ve ever seen a live peacock! Where? When? Was it just the coolest? We want to know! Or if you’re more Paisley than Peacock, tell us about your lifelong love affair with those irresistible patterns! U.S. Winners only – Official Rules.

We have Design Team Members playing along today –

Janelle Stollfus

And some inspiration from our website – All these samples are by Fran Seiford. You can find them all on our website by searching “Peacock”.

  1. I love peacocks. I have seen then up close at the zoo and they are so pretty. The most amazing one I saw wasn’t at a zoo. It was flying and it was solid white. My son and I were driving in town and look up and there it was. At first we didn’t think it was real, then we thought we had seen a dragon or something. I have never seen anything else that flies like they do. It was so awesome to watch. We are thinking about getting a pair of them.

  2. Peacocks are some of the most extraordinary animals in the world. I last met up with some at Busch Gardens in Tampa with my youngest granddaughter who happens to LOVE birds. We also saw an albino one which I had never seen before. And, this bird’s colors are my absolute favorite so it is always exciting to see them in person. I also have a beautiful leather purse decorated with peacocks. Can’t wait to get this set!

  3. The last time I saw a living peacock was at the Dallas Zoo where they wandered about without cages, even saw a male display his beautiful plumage. I really love birds, at one time I had 20 as pets!

  4. Beautiful stamp set & love the stencil! There’s something mesmerizing about peacocks–maybe partly because we so seldom see them. I haven’t thought about paisley in a long time–used to be one of my favorite patterns, so happy to see the stamp set!

  5. No live peacock sightings by this Vermonter but seeing one is on my bucket list! They are such a glamorous and breathtaking creature! They are even dressed in my favorite colors! I would love to win the peacock set so I could at least make some of my own! TFS!

  6. Beautiful peacocks and I like paisley designs. I have seen peacocks at the zoo and someone down the road from us used to raise them.

  8. I’ve told you my story about being on safari and seeing them up-close.
I’ve seen them in the zoo (been a long time since I’ve been there) but
I remember the vivid colors and the beautiful sweep of that tail
when it is spread out. Love this stamp set. Great that it is
in pieces so you aren’t limited to what you can do with it.
    thanks for sharing.

  9. Peacocks are so beautiful, I have seen them in several places, a rainforest cafe in Northen NSW and at another cafe in Tasmania, just strutting about so regal. Many thanks

  10. Love these peacock creations!
I have seen peacocks, as well as wild turkeys! Funniest run-in I had with a turkey was finding one in the Beverly’s Crafts parking lot one time when I went to shop. Found out from the clerks in the store that the turkey frequented the lot and sometimes chased people! That would be quite a surprise!
We have had a peacock visit our yard and have heard them occasionally at night!

  11. Thanks for the video Fran! What a cool stencil to gave with the stamps. I think this is such an awesome set. I went down to the trash room a few weeks ago looking for boxes to pack some stuff in. One of the boxes, to my surprise was full of peacock feathers. When I get this set, I will be able to use these. I couldn’t figure out what to use them for. LOL

  12. These are so pretty, as are
    Peacocks! My Aunt and Uncle
    had peacocks on their dairy
    farm in Oklahoma. They
    acted like guard dogs and
    would make noise when
    disturbed.

  13. Our local zoo always had peacocks roaming about. Each year I took pictures of my daughter trying to sneak up close to them in hopes of touching one. She never got the opportunity to touch a live one; however, we have a vase full of feathers from a farm where they were raised.

  15. No, I have never been blessed with being able to see one of them in person. I think they are STUNNING, I have always been obsessed with them. When I see them on T.V. I am just in awe of them they are just so BEAUTIFUL!! I have a pad of 12 x 12 scrapbook paper that is mostly all peacock’s and I refuse to use it because it is so beautiful and I can’t find the paper any where. I got it like over 10 yrs ago. I also have the most AMAZING ribbon, it is 3″ wide stunning color’s and peacock’s on it that I also refuse to use, lol. I got that at A,C, Moore and my mom is always looking to see if they restock it so I can use the one I have. I would be so thrilled to win these stamps or dies, they are BEAUTIFUL !! I could create some amazing cards and scrapbook pages with these. Thank you.

    • Hope you have your paper and ribbon on display if you’re not going to use it! Wouldn’t it be cool in a 12 X 12 shadow box with the paper in the back and the ribbon artistically draped in the front. Oooh… might have to go see if I have any of that kind of thing at home! 🙂
