Happy New Year! We are back in the office and ready to celebrate 2017 with exciting new products and innovation at Creativation 2017!
We also want to take a short walk through the posts of 2016 and share our most favorite events and products we had the fortune to blog. It was a tough process only to pick just a few posts when we had SO many exciting events like our collaborations with new companies and new product lines, but these posts show a glimpse at the fantastic year we had in 2016!
Embossing Poppy Puddles in Melt Media
In March we shared a full week of creative embossing techniques with a glimpse at Fran Seiford’s book “Embossing Techniques From A to Z.” Here’s an example from our posts that week using the fabulous technique from Fran on melting embossing powders.
This was the year of remarkable foam stamps designed by Nathalie Kalbach for our January release and the designers from Nathalie’s Creative Squad joined our team for a week of mixed media fun! You can see from this peek at Marsha Valk’s project during the hop that it was full of vibrant projects!
These mice were popping up throughout the year for each season of products, and the summer scenes were all incredibly fun for our design team to create cards. This favorite Sandpiper scene is by Lea Fritts and sums up our entry into the sweet summer months of the northern hemisphere.
Flowers are always in bloom at Stampendous, and we pulled them together in June for a wonderful bouquet of projects. This is a beautifully painted canvas made by Debbie Cole with a combination of flower and butterfly stamps from our April catalog.
We were and still are thrilled to be working with Pink Your Life to make their line of stamps designed by Nicoletta Zanella. Each release just keeps getting more amazing! You are going to love the new ones coming out soon!
Yes, we do give a HOOT for some amazing artists who gather at the Heart of Ohio Tole Chapter convention! It was incredibly fun to meet everyone and share the art of combining stamps with decorative painting! Another creation by Debbie Cole using Fox Friend stamp shows just how fun it can be to stamp and paint!
This little woodland creature is part of a creative Stampendous product we call Stack stamps. It’s the paper dolls of stamping, just mix and match heads, bodies, arms, legs and hats to create a bevy of woodland and snowy images. The Fall and Winter themes for these stamps were packed into these three sets; Woodsy Stack, Winter Stack, and Costume Stack.
Fran was inspired to design a swirled background stamp after creating a night scene with the Cling Mermaid Stamp Set, so in our October release, we included sunflowers for a Van Gogh stamping theme.
Bible journaling took an updated look with two new stamp sets that will stay current no matter what chapter or verse you are studying. Take a peek at Bible Promises and Bible Journal on our website if you haven’t seen them yet, they really are great tools for creatives journaling in their Bibles.
We remembered the holiday season with our great selection of sentiment and background stamps that tell of the spirit and traditions of Christmas. This cheerful card by Kristine Reynolds is only one of many shared throughout the week from our design team.
There were so much more favorites from our posts in 2016 from our mixed media products, company collaborations, and new introductions to team members and more products. It was an overwhelmingly blessed year, and we look forward to 2017 with the same excitement! Hang on, it’s going to be a fantastic year at Stampendous!
