Welcome back to another day of pretty poinsettias! We had a chance to see in video we posted yesterday all the possibilities using Create A Poinsettia Cling Stamp and Die Cut Set, but did you spot Fran’s great idea for keeping track of the parts of the free template included in the stamp package? Today is a sneak peek at the products themselves before a little project treat or two as well. This gorgeous poinsettia flower arrangement is accompanied by a vintage style greeting for a great card or scrapbook page and yes holiday ornaments, too!
The coordinating die cut set will help layer the poinsettia flower into four sections, but really you can stamp and layer until it looks just they way you want. Just stamp out a few extra flowers from to create a beautiful three-dimensional effect with it.
One of the possibilities Fran shared in the video is to use thin chipboard cut with the dies to add stability to each flower layer and then add a jump rings to attach beads and a hook or loop for a pretty ornament. Here’s her finished sample she started in the video and it turned out beautiful!
