Stampendous and DecoArt – World Tour

2014_06_decoart

The excitement continues as we lead you on a world tour of amazing artists playing with Stampendous, DecoArt, and Princeton Artist Brushes via inspired by Willow Wolfe products together! You’ll be amazed at what they’ve created!

If you missed the beginning of our journey, be sure to go back and check it out! MONDAYTUESDAYWEDNESDAY

[NOTE: The below section has been edited – our initial video posting was incorrect!]

We recently had a chance at the Society of Decorative Painters Convention in San Diego to meet with the folks at DecoArt and really gush over their products! There we met Susie Wolfe and we had a chance to catch her in action demonstrating our very own Stampendous Stack Art Stamps and DecoArt’s Media Fluid Acrylics! Susie showed us how easy it is to create mixed media surfaces with these terrific products.

Check out a video of Susie’s great idea for using the transparency of the new Media Fluid Acrylics to create a stunning color wash! –

Noreen Burgess of Just Us showed us how she uses the Stampendous Creative Palette as a practice pad for decorative painting strokes. Just one more way the Creative Palette makes it easier for  painters to get to the fun parts of painting.  She’s using a practice sheet created by herself and partner Helen Stadter of Just For You. These ladies hand paint each practice sheet and sell them at SDP events.

Here’s the corrected video showing Noreen demonstrating this great idea! –

Of course, there are prizes! DecoArt is sending three sets of their  Media Fluid Acrylics, Princeton Artist Brushes via inspired by Willow Wolfe is donating Select 3750 Brushes and some Catalyst Wedges, and we’ll be adding a Stampendous Creative Palette so you can practice all the techniques you’ll see this week.  We’ll be sending three prize packages to commenters with U.S. Mailing Addresses, and DecoArt will be sending three generous sample packages to international commenters, so all our friends can play.

Wait until you see what our other artists have created!

A few of the bloggers this week are new to hopping, so if you have an issue with any of the links, here’s a little tip! If you get a page that says “Sorry that Page is not here” or something similar, try clicking on the header of the blog, or look for something that says Home. The hop page should be near the top of the day’s posts. We will fix broken links as the day goes on, as well, so check back here if you are really lost.

    • Sure, Diane. When you choose Pin to pin it on one of your boards a little window pops up with the “description” in it. If you are re-pinning it “from” our Pinterest board, it’s already tagged. If you’re pinning from our blog or someone else’s, just be sure to put #Stampendous, #DecoArt, and #PrincetonArtistBrushes in the description. We can search for that to determine the winners.
