Stampendous loves Faber-Castell!

faber castell gelatos

Ok, we’ve collaborated with a lot of terrific companies recently. But as far as I know this is the only one that owns it’s own CASTLE! Yep! You can actually take a tour! Cabinet-maker Kaspar Faber began making pencils in the 1660’s! A family owned business, Faber-Castell has risen from these humble beginnings to become internationally synonymous with fine writing instruments. In 1908 the company added colored pencils to their line, and their familiarity and quality with artists was established. They still make the highest quality writing instruments and artists supplies available, and we feel honored and lucky to be partnering with such a distinguished firm this week! We’re also excited that Faber-Castell is also a Shopatron company like Stampendous. This means that orders from the manufacturer’s website are actually filled by individual retailers across the country, supporting local communities and businesses.

Faber-Castell was extremely generous to our Design Team sending us tons of products from their Design Memory Craft range. Many stampers and scrapbookers will be familiar with Gelatos and other products from this fine company. These products are at the forefront of the Mixed Media movement in scrapbooking, stamping and home decor, a perfect kick off for Mixed Media March – our Monthly Blog Challenge. We hope you’ll enjoy the terrific inspiration we’ve got for you this week!

Be sure to leave comments! Like all Blog Hops we’ve got prizes this week! And believe me, they were as generous for our prizes as they were for our Design Team!

  2. I absolutely love the project created with the Stampendous daisy and the gorgeous shabby and textured embossing detail. Faber Castell gelatos are a favourite of mine as are the pencils.

  3. I don’t get to paint with the gelatos as much as I’d like but I do think they make “painting” so much easier. I loved the parrot on Kristen’s page. Fussy cutting him really made him pop. thanks for sharing

  13. I could have toured the castle when I was in Germany recently!!!!????? Now I’m sad…:( I’m really into castles, and saw a bunch, but this one would have been cool because I love Faber Castell. Anyway, I hope that I win, because I love FC products!
