Stampendous loves Paint!!

In honor of  Vegas Paint this week (the Creative Paint Convention for Decorative Painters) we’re going to look some gorgeous examples of using acrylic paints with your rubber stamps.

We have been so blessed that decorative painter/artist/teacher Debbie Cole, CDA joined our team last year. She’s created so many amazing projects featuring our stamps and her decorative painting skills, and she’s published so many tutorials for projects on her blog! We love the way her clear, simple instructions make us feel that even we could pick up a brush and be super successful! The lucky folks at Creative Paint are getting the benefit of her teaching skills today in Las Vegas, and we’d love for you to experience a bit of that here!

When Debbie brings a box of projects in to the Stampendous offices, our eyes bug out and we say, “ooooh! aaaaah!” (I will admit there’s a fair amount of drooling as well!) And the projects she made for our January 2014 catalog were no exception. We want to start this week by sharing our favorite.

This incredible box is quite large, and extremely dramatic. You can see the entire tutorial for creating it on Debbie’s blog HERE.  (it would be nice if you visited and left her some love in the comments!)

We’ll share more of Debbie’s work this week. But our Design Team has also been busy playing with paint in different ways.  We want to be sure to mention that all the paint you see has been GENEROUSLY donated to our team by DecoArt! We are so blessed to have their sponsorship for our painty projects!!! Here’s who has some fun inspiration for you today:
