August Challenge – Focus on Sentiments

We all know having the perfect sentiment for a card is really a challenge sometimes! How do you solve it?  My solution, of course, is to buy every stamp I see with a sentiment I love or that makes me laugh hoping I’ll use it someday to make a card!

Here at Stampendous we have lots of fantastic sentiments for any occasion. Some take more creativity than others to discover, but we also have some terrific Perfectly Clear Stamps™ Alphabets for making any sentiment you like. This month our Designers will show you tips and tricks for getting that perfect sentiment and we want you to play along!  Link your project using a sentiment you love as the focus of your piece to our linky below and you could be the lucky winner of some of our fantastic sentiments we just released in our new July catalog.  We’ll give away three stamps this month.

CRY025 Cling Life is Art
CRM282 Cling Flower Path

and

Cling Cherish Family

Design Team member Suzanne Czosek used some of our new sentiments to terrific advantage on some alcohol ink tags she made for another challenge. These are so colorful and gorgeous! There’s more at the link under her name.

Another fantastic sample is Wendy Price’s card using this same sentiment. Love how she’s used the Color Fragments to make the rainbow on her card. You can see the tutorial for this card HERE.

So hop around a bit and get inspired by our Sentiment loving Design Team, then create something of your own! Here’s a chance to dig out that sentiment stamp you just had to have but haven’t used yet. BONUS if your project uses Stampendous products your entry counts twice!!
