Magical Eskimo by Janelle Stollfus

SSC1058 Snowy Short Stacks Perfectly Clear Stamp Set
Brown card stock, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches and scrap
Kraft card stock
White card stock
Alcohol markers
Versamark™ Marker Pen
Champagne Glass Glitter
Detail Clear Embossing Powder
Embossing folder
Cream pigment ink pad
Ribbon
Hole punch
Brads (2)
Dimensional tape or dots
Tape runner

Directions:

1.       Stamp Eskimo image onto white cardstock and color with alcohol markers.

2.       Cut around image and place dimensional tape on back, set aside.

3.       Fold brown cardstock into A2 (4 1/4 x 5 1/2-inch) size card for the card base, set aside.

4.       Emboss kraft cardstock with embossing folder and brush cream ink pad gently across raised embossing. Heat set the ink or let it air dry.

5.       Wrap ribbon around kraft cardstock and tie a bow or a knot. Place a small amount of non-permanent adhesive on the back and position on the brown card base.

6.       Stamp sentiment from the set onto scrap of brown cardstock with cream ink and sprinkle with clear embossing powder and heat set. Trim around sentiment and hole-punch at each end for the brads. Add dimensional tape and adhere to bottom of embossed kraft card stock.

7.       Position the Eskimo, being sure to leave the backing on the dimensional tape. Draw a dust trail from the feet of the Eskimo off into the horizon (above the edge of the kraft cardstock). Set aside the colored Eskimo and pull up the kraft card stock. Sprinkle with clear embossing powder and heat set. Sprinkle Frant*age Crushed Glass Glitter lightly over the embossed area and heat from under the card stock until the embossing powder grabs the glitter. Shake off excess glitter and set aside.

8.       Repeat step 7 with the brown card base.

9.       Add permanent adhesive to kraft card stock and adhere to brown cardstock, joining the glitter trail together. Adhere Eskimo to glitter trail end.
