Don’t Forget Mother’s Day!

BlogStar Laura Davis is looking ahead to Mother’s Day and Spring bringing new moms! We just adore the darling CRS2025 Cling Elephant Always Set in the BlockArt style. This style lets you color if that’s what you’re into, but it also lends itself beautifully to paper piecing, Painting With Powder, and just about any other technique you can think of. Simple, clear lines with well-defined spaces equals easy and adorable. Here’s what Laura had to say:

I fell in love with this stamp the second I saw it. I adore elephants, and this mama elephant snuggling her baby is just precious. This fabulous Stampendous stamp is perfect for paper piecing. This stamping technique is easy and fun and makes your stamps pop! To paper piece you simply pick out different patterned papers and colored card stocks. You then stamp your image onto each of your different mediums, carefully cutting out and placing or “piecing” your image together to give a dimensional look with all the different papers. I also used Copic markers on the mama elephant stamp and pop dots to give some more depth to the stamp. Paper piecing is easy and fun and gives that “wow” look to your projects. I think this card would be perfect for a new mother, or the perfect Happy Mother’s Day card.
